Yep. I too was expecting a package. I didn't know they called, only left little sticky notes with their numbers, etc. Good to know info.
its definitely fedex. They call me all the time. Daily and sometimes more than once a day on my cell phone! I asked them to remove me from their list, they say they will and yet I still get calls. This call today was from fedex office/kinkos wanting to ask me about my printing needs! I don't have printing needs! I'm not a company. I'm just a guy with my own desktop printer. I asked for the supervisor and demanded to be removed from the list. He said yes he would but I bet I'll get calls from fedex in the future. I do have a fedex personal account and do use them for shipping once a month but I don't want them calling me daily trying to upsell me. I told them I'll close my fedex account if they call again. UPS doesn't call me and I have a UPS account.
I get a call from this number atleast twice a week on my cell phone. Everytime i let it go to voicemail as it doesnt so who it is on my caller id. it always says the tracking number, date of delivery, and that they need someone 21 or older to sign for it. whenever i look up the tracking number its always for a location 20 min away from my home. this is getting rediculous and i wish there was a way to stop it!
Received numerous calls yesterday while I was out of the office (noticed these calls under my phone's "missed call" database.); also phoned around 8:00 this morning; it is listed as a TOLL FREE CALL - no name otherwise associated with this number on caller ID.
Got a call at 4:30 am, pacific time! No voicemail, no id except the phone number.
Yes, this is the fed-ex number. We were expecting a PKG today but they could not guarantee what time..... only that it would be before 7 p.m. tonight. My husband told them that he would pick it up instead of them delivering as we will be gone most of the afternoon/evening.
This is a legitimate automated call from FedEx.I got a call to inform me about my package delivery date and tracking number. At the end of the call you will be given an option to press "5" not to receive any more automated calls from FedEx.
Got a call from this number at our office today. Caller ID said 'TOLL FREE CALL'. A human was actually on the other end of the line -- a Shaniquwah or something from Fed-Ex. Asked for one of our employees by name. Said she would call back.
Received call today from this number -- CID listed "Unavailable" so I let it go to voicemail. It turns out it was a legitimate call from FedEx. It was a recorded voice reminding me of a package delivery scheduled for tomorrow morning -- the message listed the correct date, projected delivery time and package tracking number for this delivery. The message also correctly stated that the shipment required a signature and directed me to use the FedEx website to make other delivery arrangements if no one would be available to sign for the package. All the info provided in the message was accurate so I'm confident that this was a valid message from FedEx. My only problem is with how stupid & inept FedEx is as a major company to not have their system properly coded to display their corporate name as the caller. With all the scam attempts we face on a daily basis, do they really think we're going to answer calls from "Unavailable"? Those days are long gone!
