rec'd t/c from this # and just says toll-free call--not expecting anything; called 3-times in 1 hour
These weasels keep calling!!DO NOT ANSWER!!"This is Jason with Fed-Ex and I want to help you grow your business."
Didn't answer, but got a vm.Jenny from FedEx about shipping services for my company.Ok, I like FedEx, think they're a great company, and use them OCCASIONALLY, but this call is just wasting my time. My company invests in real estate. We rarely FedEx anything. In fact, we ship or mail (using good ol' USPS) something about a dozen times a YEAR! Most everything is handled electronically.
Lemuel with FedEx wanted to speak to who ever was in charge of shipping.Confused, I asked if he wanted to speak to the person who had sent out a package? or who just handles shipping in general. and he said "Yea, who ever deals with the shipping". I put him on hold and quickly looked up the number and realized that it was just a sales call. I just informed him that they were not available and I could take down his name and number and pass along the message. He gave me this number 877-744-7333 ect 650751
Sorry but I don't believe this is FedEx at all! Yes, it's a FedEx phone number but they are somehow piggy backing on it. I have an online kiteboarding business and someone by the name of "Ruby Yen" placed a $2700 order for kite gear to be shipped Next Day Air (Red Flag #1). Some gear was sold out so we tried calling the phone number and no one there had even heard of this person. So, I emailed them (rubychung@cvsunion.com) and he actually called us back but the phone number on Caller ID was this 800#, not the one from his order submission. We had been taken to the cleaners 2 years ago for credit card fraud so we are extremely cautious now. I tried processing a order with the information he submitted for just a few dollars and the card came back declined with this response: Pick Up Card: Lost or Stolen. 'Nuf said!!! Not FedEx!!!
800-463-3339 calls repeatedly and stays on the phone long enough to hear a dial tone. No message left. Surely spam, spoofed number, or scam.
Caller iD said Federal Express. When i picked up the call put me on hold and then disconnected. I had many scam callers using Federal Express on the caller ID. So many of them spoof the number and names on the ID box it wouldnt surpise me if it wasnt truly them!!
Received an annoying "sales" call claiming to be from FedEx. It was not automated or delivery-related. I suspect the caller was spoofing FedEx's number because FedEx would have had the information they were phishing for on the phone. I spoke with individual for about 30 seconds and then hung up.
