For once, an "800 Service" number is actually welcome. :-) They remind the recipient that a package is coming on a certain day that may have an "adult-signature" or other actual must-be-there-to-accept requirement.

Legit call - it is FedEx needing additional info to complete a shipment.

got a call from them, said they were a collection agency representing Bank of America. I believe they may be a scam collection agency and get people to send them money, which they pocket.

My business has an account with them. They do a check-in call annually. Still didn't answer, but that's who it is--FedEx Office.

This really is Fedex trying to advise of a shipping problem. In my case, they tried to deliver to my office building but did not have a suite number, so they returned it to the shipper. They were able to confirm to me all details of the shipment. Of course, some scammer could be spoofing the Fedex phone number to get you to answer the phone...(this last sentence is intended only for the paranoid among you).

So why did you come to a phone number look-up site? You know who called.

Got a call from this number today. Jason from Fedex left a message and a tracking number for me, and requested I call back to speak to a tracing agent. The tracking number he left on my voicemail belonged to a package that was delivered to me on the 19th of Feburary. I did have a problem with that package as my delivery driver left it at the wrong house on the wrong street. After several calls to Fedex another driver was kind enough to come out and find my package for me. Not sure why they are calling me about this 2 weeks later.

I got a call from this number at work. The Caller ID said Tallahassee something or other, but the woman said she was with FedEx. She asked for a person that wasn't in the office at the time and then promptly hung up when I told her the person wasn't here. I'm suspicious if this really was FedEx or not.

I agree this number has been hijacked. Got a call from a "robo caller" saying they had a package for me and gave my home address. Rattled off a very long "tracking number" and indicated a signature by someone over 21 was required. If no one was going to be home to sign for the package, please press 1.We were not expecting anything from FedEx, someone was home all day, no package.Scam for sure
