Got a call from this number. I do not answer 800 numbers. They tripped my VM. No message was left. I called the number back to see if I was in their system. The FedEx rep couldn't find me. Life's a mystery.
I'm looking for the number for FedEx CS and come across these "who called me'' sites and I'm thinking, WTF? Kim, you must be adoomaz, FedEx doesn't operate that way. Good God, they called you but so what? Maybe the person/business that had your number previously did business with them. Maybe the human who dialed/miskeyed the number and got you. Maybe the person who mailed the package gave a close but wrong number and they called you because of that. If you answered the phone you have a voice. A simple ''thank you, not interested'' works wonders. People who are afraid to answer their phones, and people who flame-off because someone actually did call them are pretty unintelligent. Why can't people handle phone calls these days? Sheesh! You think just because you have caller ID that nobody can call you, even if it's a cell phone? It's not illegal to call someone (and I never said anything about restraining orders, so don't come back with that).
This has to be a scam. The caller said if was FedEx, but the tracking number they left does not look like any FedEx tracking number I have ever seen. I is way too short for starters. I looked it up and it shows the delivery started in Puerto Rico, then Memphis, etc. I have received many FedEx packages and they has never asked for a signed piece of paper hung on my door by 4:30pm today to have the package delivered. If a FedEx person comes to the door they better have ID as I will not be signing for anything. This has SCAM written all over it.
Phished, not fished. Why would anybody phish the FedEx number just to call you to tell you your package needed to be signed for? Unless you have proof this is a scam, STFU. FedEx probably misdailed and got you or the package sender gave them them a wrong number, which happened to be yours, or your number is a new number that hasn't been out of circulation long enough and they dialed you. It happens. Not all calls are scams.
I dont know why you would want to be removed from their list. The only reason they call is if you have a COD or need an adult signature. Its just to let you know that someones needs to be home and or needs a money order. no biggy, its actually a very helpful service. I appreciate knowing very much. Oh and NO it doesnt always show up as FEDEX if its fedex I have normally show up as unknown whereas I dont answer but they leave a msg. lettiing me know what to expect.
great to see a lot of geniuses posting here. it's fedex, so get over it.they own kinkos too.
