This is DirecTV's number as I've called it and gotten calls from them before. However, the last call I got from them was a scam. They were offering a promotion to "cut my bill in half". All I had to do with was prepay my bill for 3 months. When I said I might be interested he said he needed to transfer me to a supervisor to generate the promo code on my account. When I spoke with the "supervisor", you could tell he was getting impatient and I was very suspicious at that point. I asked him to repeat how the promo worked a few times (reiterating the fact that I could call billing myself) and he was getting very upset by that and stated repeatedly it would only take a minute if I could commit to paying today. When I finally told him I was no longer interested he told me to "Take my DirecTV and shove it my [***] [***]." So yeah. Total scam.

I do not have DTV but they keep trying to call me every day its getting very very annoying

NOT SO FAST!!! I got 4 calls in one day from this number. I picked up the 4th time. It was a Pashtun sounding foreigner who claimed he was from case management and had gone over my account and decided I was entitled to $12 off my monthly bill, plus 12 HBO channels, Showtime, Cinemax etc. for FREE for 2 years. All I had to do was pay my bill 12 months in advance, that's $700 bucks, mind you. I told him to go [***] himself and may a cow [***] on his head. Obviously he spoofed the number. Just because the call comes from 800-531-5000 doesn't mean it's really Directv.

That's DirecTV's actual number, but scammers are spoofing it. It's a pretty good scam since the scammers seem to have your account information.

Cancelled service with Direct TV some time ago due to unprofessional service and rude reps. Was offered $ 200.00 to stay. Now Direct TV is attempting to assess fees. Unacceptable and true to corporate bullying form. Not one dime more for Direct TV.

How can I get them to stop call me.

Called, I did not answer. I do not have Direct TV.
