If it were one time that would be another story. I got 4 calls from them in the span of a 2hr meeting. That's excessive. And canceling that 3 free months of HBO is a pain in the [***], so, no thanks, I STILL don't want it.

Called at 5:38 AM! Asked if I had Direct Tv. I can't say what I told him to do.

I got a call yesterday on DirectTV $59 for 2 years contract. And he asked me to call another number and pay $300 or so (6 months?) in advance. I responded that I would not pay anything in case of fraud. If the offer is valid, ask DirectTV change the term and send me the billing of $59. Then the caller hang up. And I blocked his number!

Then tell us why you are on here? Maybe a little concerned over a call you received? Like the pot calling the kettle black.

Don't know who it is that calls. Blocked this number in the past. I purposefully don't answer unknown numbers nor toll free ones. If a message is not left, they will be blocked.

Got a call saying they're from AT&T and wanted to offer me a deal on directv/internet/phone for 89.00 a month. Sounded like foreign call center, plus they didn't have the plan I had or know what I was currently paying, I was pretty sure something was not right I told them that I would have to go look at my bill to see what channels I was getting, that I would have to compare first. Anyway, he said he would call me back tomorrow night so I could look at what I currently had! I didn't give him any info, and he didn't ask (yet). So now i'll see what the rest of his "pitch" is, i'll come up with my own "plan" to waste his time! (I love jacking with these jerks!!) (If anybody has any good ideas, let me know!!)

I received another call from 800-531-5000 on 9/16/17 at 6:08 PM. I didn't answer the call and & they didn't leave a message. Caller ID display was DIRECTV MAIN NU. Not sure if this was legit or not.

This number just called and didn't leave a message. Others here have said it's Directv but my caller ID just said DIRECT NOT DIRECTV. I'm guessing this is yet another scam to get personal info.

Called my unlisted home number, did not leave a message, errrr!
