This number also appeared on my bank statement (they did not call me) and I found out I had purchased a subscription to Microsoft office online and it would renew itself and that was what the 10.69 charge was for. So I suggest if you have purchased any online versions of anything from Microsoft to log into your account and double check!

Got a message today from them about my computer which I haven't used in ages. Its a huge scam. Just hang up on them..

Even if your caller ID shows it is Microsoft (or some other big company name), be alert all the time because scammers can now easily fool the telephone system to pretend as if they are calling from a big company on your caller ID. This technique is call spoofing. At one time, even my own number calling me on my own phone !!!! Go figure !!

Apple products work flawlessly ?????This shows you are actually NOT an Apple customer. I own lots of Apple products, from iPhone to iPad to iMac to Apple TV, and they are as bad as Microsoft products. Try Apple Music to see for yourself ---- be careful not to loss your own songs.

Some people seem to think this is a legit call from Microsoft telling you something is wrong with your computer?No way in hell does Microsoft call YOU with an issue on YOUR computer. You call then if you have a problem. The only way they'd know is if they were monitoring & spying on you! Pretty damn simple common sense if you ask me!

This number just called, and my computer started acting up at the same time. These scammers are also computer hackers beware!!!

They can't affect your computer unless you agree to install a remote access program that they will tell you to install. Don't install ANYTHING that they want you to install....it's that simple.

Home computer probably hacked into, security compromised. Disabling desktop screen takeover from some company saying it needs to be fixed - happened several times, blue screen, also - then calls from 800-642-7676 ID Microsoft (supposedly).
