I just found out they have also been taking money out of my account since June in the amount of 10.59
Did not get to talk to them but was charged $10.59 for no reason. Its on my bank statement. I need help resolving this issue.
Just received another call from this number. This time I answered it to ask that they please do not call again (it's a company cell). The male (Indian accent) was, at first receptive to my request, then immediately turned rude (and vulgar) when I asked him his name and company info. I wish I could post the conversation, but again, it was too vulgar. I just kept replying with "um, ok, well, thanks, is there anything else you need from me so that you can remove my number?" and his replies were too vulgar (you can imagine). Anyway, this is NOT Microsoft. I called Microsoft and the PR Administrative Assistant confirmed that Microsoft was not responsible for this type of survey, she did however, apologize for my inconvenience. I wish someone could track this number and put a stop to it. I registered my phone on the "Do Not Call List", but apparently these jerks are finding a way around it. So frustrating.
I get about 3 or 4 calls a week from this number. the man on the phone has such a heavy accent I can hardly understand what he is saying. All I could understand is that he is from Dell and was notified that I have a dangerous virus.
This number is constantly calling me. When I asked for the name of the company or the male's name (Indian accent), he became rude and vulgar.
DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!! As a previous computer techie from mid 80's til 2006 ...this is a marketing SCAM. These calls are NOT Microsoft. These people calling will do a remote intrusion on your computer to "fix" it. As a credit card servicing person from 2006 thru the end of 2015 ...I had sooo many calls from people who gave into this giving out tgeir personal credit card info and even signed up purchasing contracts for 1 year to lifetime for way too much money. They especially prey on older people like I now am and insecure computer users. I don't know if they misuse their getting inside your computer remotely or not but you are giving them an open door inside. If you own a computer you should decide in advance on someone you can trust in advance just like new parents select a pediatrician before the need arises.
Now that's just shilly. You get the shillver medal for this one. Most people I know, who are tech geniuses, have not been able to contact Microsoft successfully, despite an average ten years of trying.More than that, Microsoft responds to reports of computer problems by and issuing "updates". They don't call you.Are you shill there, and are you listening? If you are not a shill, are you a plant?
Got phone call from them too. Foreign accent with lots of others in background. I let her go thru her speech and then I said Thank you for staying on phone for me. Trace completed. You are a known scammer and this is being recorded. Notices have been sent out on this as warnings.
