I find that when they call the called id is "unavailable" I never pick up when "unavailable" is on the id. They have been calling every day, sometime twice. I will sign up at work or at church when there is a blood drive. I wish they would identify themselves at least.

Not true, I've done this and it doesn't work. They stop for about two months and then continue.

I disagree with you and agree with him. The Red Cross has NO RIGHT to sell, trade or otherwise transfer OUR information we provide to them (required by them) in the course of making a donation as important as this is. IMHO - It is like giving away phone numbers of people who donate organs. The Red Cross is hurting THEIR OWN EFFORTS by this practice. THEY are hurting those in need of blood services NOT US.Btw, if you still disagree, post your name and number. I will call YOU every other Sunday night at 830M.

This is totally incorrect. I have answered dozens of times and asked to be placed on the do not call list. The calls persist incessantly. I have now resulted to handing the phone to my 3 year old and let him babble at the telemarketer every day. He enjoys talking on the phone and now gets a daily call.

I do not appreciate this number calling me ALL THE TIME!!! They seriously call me AT LEAST twice a day! I am not even of age to give blood yet. I have no idea how they got my phone number, as I do not have Facebook or Twitter. I wish my name could be taken off their list, but I don't know how that is possible.

That's a bunch of crap! I have answered the calls and asked repeatedly to be removed from the call list. The calls keep coming 3 or 4 times a week. This kind of harassment is probably a factor in explaining the shortage of blood.

Not necessarily a blood donor connection. Have never given blood or been on any medical lists, and I get calls from them. I've blocked the calls now, but one just tried to come in. They try about once a week.

It would seem that your posts here are computer generated and will continue to post ad infinitum.
