These [***] suckers were calling 4-5 times a day. They were looking for a specific company or person, and so they obviously had the wrong number.I called back and immediately told them to "quit [***] calling my number" and the dumb [***] asked me not to use profanity. So I responded [***] you and hung up.
I've put an app on my cell phone that won't even let the # ring through anymore. It doesn't stop the stupid voicemail but that's easy enough to erase. I settle my stuff with those that send me written proof only. I will not provide my social by phone to b anyone that calls me saying I owe a debt. Problem... These jerks are calling my moms house non-stop too. They know the law they just ignore it. Send me proof of my debt then I'll acknowledge you.
They thought my # belonged to Teresa Crosby and I advised them that it does not and to remove my number from their database
I got a call from this number this morning. Only I went to college for free...so idk why they would be calling me? I dont answer if its a number I dont know, if its so important they will leave a message. but really I have no student debt sooo yeah
Looking for a carlos vega never heard of him or know him then the idiot keep asking if anyone in family knew him or a phone # to reach him ( i live alone). He keep asking for a # for this guy next time maybe i should give him a fake #( someone i really dont like lol) or the local police dept.
Rude call I blocked and will not answer again. I received a call today from a number I did not recognize. I answered and a woman ask for lawanda. I reply no such person. She continue her little speech. I again I repeat the above. She press on making me miss an important call. I say you must have missed dialed. This number was a mifi device of mine for yrs and could not receive calls until this year when I transferred it to a phone. So you must be misdialung. Remove my number from your system and her file. I ask name if company she is with she continues to annoy. All she would say is this is the number given by the person. We argue and over this and I end conversation raising my voice as she tries to talk over top of me. I say I am not the person she is calling for, this number is not the number to reach that person ever. I do not know this person Di not call my number again or I will file a complaint.
So I get a call I answered. The woman does not identify herself or company she is with even after I ask. She asked for a person not at my cell number. I have had this number for a few yrs but only as a mifi device before this year. Which means calls could not come be made incoming or outgoing. The woman kept auguring that this is the number that such in such person gave as contact number. I say again it is not I say so and they now know. She keeps arguing over reading her speech and that this person much be at my number. She would not end the call so I did by repeating. I am paraphrasing here "stop calling or I will file a complaint, do not call again this is not her contact number. I do not know her and you have been informed of this so remove this number of of her file and system. I hung up on the person.
Think again ;I suggest you Google ---->>> TIME BARRED DEBT F.T.C.orstatute limitations debt by state
Do NOT call these people back and do not answer your phone if you don't know the number! Now this collection agency is calling and leaving messages pretending it is " to lower your credit card interest rate" or " you have qualified for a free home security system." I never called them back because I already KNOW that trick. This collection agency trick is that they call you and act as if they are offering you something, then they want you to call back and give them your information " to be removed" from the list, supposedly. You then confirm information so you can be supposedly removed from their"list" WRONG.Then they bother you mercilessly if you give them your information. Don't give them anything and don't confirm anything. DO NOT call them back. Ignore the calls if you don't know the number.Report them to your State Atty General and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.Trust me - *even if you are NOT the person they are trying to call*, they will still keep calling you and bothering you because they just want to bother someone. Take action against them. They robocall constantly, call and hang up leaving no message, or call and leave stupid messages saying they want to lower the interest rate on my credit card or give me a free home security system. Yeah, sure. Jerks.
