SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!

Received a call from this number and caller did not leave a message.

I do one BETTER! I have a set of noise canceling headphones and an air horn. As soon as I see a strange number on the Caller ID, I put the headphones on, grab the air horn, run to the back door and go outside and wait until a live person comes on. Then, I say, we're on the DO NOT CALL LIST and give them a BLAST right in the phone and then hang up!

This is a Robo-caller. The caller ID had them listed as 'Cardmember Services'.

These people call all the time and refuse to remove our number from their list even though we are on the no cal list.

These people are calling me over and over again. I made the mistake of answering on of the calls that tells this is a live number and they flat out refuse to stop calling. Since they wont stop calling and no seems to be able to stop them, I decided to start having fun with them. When they call I answer the phone they usually do a quick robo message about lowering the interest on your credit card (which by the way, I don't even freaking own one!) and it then tells you push a number to speak with a live operator, I let him have his couple of words and then tell them to go F--K themselves! It sure feels good to get in the last word before these scammers can hang up on me, It's really rather therapeutic! If everyone did the same thing and passed the word around, they would soon begin to realize the scam is not worth it. Plus if enough outrage is made public, state and federal lawmakers could put an end to this rather quickly.They have the technology to stop this kind of thing. They need to do something. The Do Not Call registry is a joke and does absolute nothing and is pretty much useless and powerless to do anything. Pass this around to everyone you know. Help make this viral on the internet.

I'm getting really wound up over robocalls. They are coming more and more often despite my being on the national and state Do Not Call lists. I generally don't answer, figuring that will just encourage them, but it sure jacks up my blood pressure to have to listen to the ringing. The only calls I should be getting are immediate family and a few local businesses.

We are definitely receiving more junk calls since putting our number on the DNC Registry. When will it end?

These idiots just don't know when to give up - thank goodness for caller ID - I just go to AT&T-Uverse and block the stupid idiots. They called me twice in an hour today. And I agree, the Do Not Call Registry is a freaking JOKE - where's the enforcement ??

We keep getting calls from this number and I have repeatedly told them to stop and to take our number off their list. Of course this never happens. I am now getting about one call a day. What can I do?
