Don't give anyone your credit card number who calls you. If it was really Cap 1 they would already have it. So why?
Just becarefull with Cap One, while everybody else or almost every other bank is filing for Bankruptsy "these f...ers" opened agencies at least 2 in each town all over America , you know what this means , they are stealing sistematicaly , and little by little from each one of us . It is a very delicate situation , 1 the goberment never do anything for us or they are to bussy or just don't care besides we are just number and if our friends or people we know die more keep comming and they keep stealingI would subjest when you pay your credit cards or do any transactions with anybody just plain and simple , do cash and do not give them more info that what you have to and allways just use a home phole line , if you use your cell phone then you screwLets try to avoid credit cards lets do old fashion way "cold hard cash"Credit Cards want you to be on debt they don't want you to pay them offThink about it ,You own them $500 right? then you get a hold of $300 you are a good payer give them $200 and then you keep using their credit cards when you less expect it you are $3000 in debt and you just dig out your own hole1

I rec'd this call today from the same number no message left, so as usual I looked up the number online and got this page. however with further investigation this is the customer service number to Capital One. I called it kept entering 0s as my card # and also as my social security number finally got a lady on the phone who wanted to know what my phone number was, then she proceeded to ask for the last 4 of my social which I would not give her since she called me she should have to this info. She proceeded to look at my account said everything was up to date and did not know the reason for the call as nothing was logged on my file. So to anyone who does recieve this call just be careful not to give any information until they can verify who you are, also this number is on the back of my capital one card.
A lady asked me to verify my zip code so she could access my information and tell me about some sort of account protection service. I told her I was not interested and hung up, but I have not authorized anyone to call me on my cell phone so it was very fishy. I will call CapitalOne to report it.I would recommend NOT giving ANY information.
That' s right man , " screw them " but the kikker here is and the mean time getting this calls or pissing and moaning like we are doing the celluphones companies are having the time of their life .Now how would they call me or call just about everybody and ask for a real card holder if the cellphones companies didn't give them our numbersThis is all f***ed upThere's gotta be somethin' we all can do , LET ME KNOW , I'm on it!
Calls at least twice a day for a week.I never answered. But called back this time. And it asked me for my "capital one credit card number".
