Call them back? Right ,isten to a two minute script ??? Are you kidding? Come on ..They never stop calling even after you try to work it out..They continue to harrass & belittle you day and night ?. Even when you have scheduled payments in their website for 6 months ,then they lock you out & youcan't pay antthing, like me? Don't believe it , this is nothing but harrassment. No matter how much you give them it is NEVER ENOUGH! No one bailed our losses out of a sling when we lost out jobs, income nor our homes.Maybe Capital One should ask Obama to foot our losses with printed millions and pay our bill ?
Hi. My name is Nguyen , My phone is" 415 271 4563 "you called me twice , but I didn't understand what you say because I don 't know much English .I need Vietnamese , I hope you can help me . Thank you so much. Nguyen.
I got a call from this number at 1:49pm CST and it was just Capital One calling me because I hadn't activated the replacement card they had sent me. I refused to give them my social or my account number and I got them to tell me why they called based on my phone # and email address. They are sending me a new card to replace my one that expires in 17 days and when I activate it, it will be a new account number just in case someone took the other replacement they had mailed me. They were very helpful and kind.
It is legit Capitol One ... they are just idiots in marketing. Their motto is, "Let's see if we can really piss of our customers, maybe they'll do more business with us."They call you multiple times a day, will only talk to the person who's name is on the card (not - say "the spouse who gets all the calls"), and even after you bother to call them back and answer all their lame questions, they continue to call you. I had to ask for a supervisor and demand to be taken off their call list.[Copied from their website ... do "search" for "1-800" and it will come up]To contact us about lost or stolen credit or debit cards: * For credit cards, please call 1-800-955-7070. * For Small Business credit cards, please call us at 1-800-867-0904. From Capital One, making sure I know how to activate the new card they sent me. My current card expires at the end of this month, so they were checking up to make sure I activate it.
This is FRAUD!! This IS NOT Capitol One calling you. I don't care if it is Capitol One's number showing up on Caller ID....DO NOT give any information to them when they call. There is technology available that enables one caller to call someone from one phone but with someone else's phone number showing on Caller IDs...(i.e. Capitol One) I got four calls from this number in as many days but after reading all the comments here over the past few days I decided to answer this one today. The man would not give me his name, only said he is calling from Capitol One. I asked him what is he calling about and he said he could not discuss that with me until I verify my birth date. I told him I cannot do that. He was very polite and said he understands that I don't want to give out private info but that this is a very important call and for me to call Capitol One right away. So I did.... I called Capitol One, their customer service number is the very same number who has been calling me and I spoke to a lady from Capitol One who told me that if ANYONE ever called me from Capitol One there would be a note of it on my account. There was no note or any indication that anyone from Capitol One has ever called me at all. If this number calls you again don't give out any information to them. If they were legit they already have your info. Ask them to send you a letter with their *very important message* to you at the address *that they already have on file*
