Seemed to be legit. Just calling to let me know to look on ebay website for upcoming changes. Her name was Lisa. She did not ask me to call her back.

Total scam, out to get information on your account or bank info. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY, or pretend to be listening then take a loud whistle and blow as loud as you can in the phone !!

She called today, she said she was calling from ebay. When I Told her to call her back she hesitated and hanged up. that was weird because ebay never called me before.

This number called and left a message. It was ebay wanting to talk to me about a job I applied for. I'm assuming it is legit, since I did apply for a job there. I live in Utah and that makes sense, since the area code is for Salt Lake City.

I got call today, stating he was calling from ebay. Dont know how he got my cellphone number, but I dont want the calls.

this is a legit number....do not freak out. call it back and listen. they tell you to check your eBay messages in your account. I called and everything is fine. it is ok to be skeptical, but don't post BS. seriously do some checking before you post that something is fraud.

It's legit from ebay but it's a waste of time - they never tell you anything really worthwhile.

This number has repeatedly called my girlfriend's cellphone. If you call the number back, it claims to be eBay. Funny, because she doesn't have that number on eBay AT ALL. They claim you should check your messages on eBay? There ARE NONE. After answering and giving the person a VERY firm notice to not call again, they DID call and left a voice mail, claiming to be Nick, a business consultant, and gives a different number to call back. It's a HOME PHONE, and the whole thing is a FRAUD.

it's legit but it's just a useless PITA phone call - a way for ebay to waste more money to increase their fees. Why not fire all these useless employees and lower your fees, ebay?
