I have received multiple calls from this number too and also have my number on the DO NOT CALL registry. This won't stop scam artists.
This is a fraudulent robo-call from a company calling themselves Cardholder Services. You should register your phone number with www.donotcall.gov and then file a complaint against this company and phone number, also on www.donotcall.gov.Under no circumstances should you give them any information, such as your name or bank information or card information.
I have received MANY unwanted calls to my cell phone from "Rachel, at Credit Card Servicces." I repeatedly tell them my number is registered on the National Do Not Call list. She immediately disconnects.
I, too, am spending a lot of time on this. Thanks for the help in getting my 'complaint process' going. Getting ANY information (including a reference number to your complaint) is like trying to pull the teeth out of a 700 lb lion that is fully awake and hungry. They didn't want to tell me anything or do anything to help and it took me over 45 minutes to get a reference number out of her. They repeatedly called me 'ma'am' even after I told them I was a man several times.I AGREE THAT WE ALL NEED TO FILE COMPLAINTS AGAINST THESE PEOPLE. They call me every single week with a different number event tho I block the number every time they call. They are very hostile people. Today when I could not find out who they were (yes, I actually talked to someone) they asked if I was a woman (I have a high voice) and when I asked them why it mattered they said that it sounded like I had a huge c*ck in my mouth. These people are VIAL and EVERYBODY needs to file complaints with anybody that will listen...the FTC, the FCC, homeland security and your attorney (if you have one). If I had an attorney I would file a lawsuit against these people in a minute. My advice, if the call has an area code you don't recognize - don't answer and then block the call.
It's the same call from different numbers on my cell and home lines. I ask to be removed from their call list and they simply hang up on me.
I just got a call from someone who sounds like he couldnt have graduated 3rd grade. I get about 3 calls a week over the past 9 months. When I told him to remove me from his list, he told me there "is no [***] list". I got some info from the son of a [***] before things got really ugly, he told me he is calling from Jackson, MS. He then proceeeded to make a threat over the phone. I want EVERYONE who reads these threads to do the following; File a police report with your local polic department for harassing phone calls, then contact the FTC and file a complaint with them, and give them the info you have here about the phone number being owned by tracphone, then contact track phone and inform them they are providing service to a scam company, and inform them you reported the company to the FTC and the police department. With any hope, these [***] will be taken down and prosecuted.
Credit card scam. Talked to "Aaron" who admitted he was not allowed to tell me the name of the company, asked me to "take it out of my mouth" and said he "couldn't understand" whenever I asked something that would require him to comply with telemarketing regulations, actually told he me lived in my mother's house, and said he had "all the power". Scummy and disgusting.
something to take to mind on this; they are not a legit company. contacting the FCC does nothing. It sucks because i would love to go to court and see that sombitch in person who just made a threat, so i can look him in the eye and laugh while he gets sent to prison.... do not call is not going to help here either.... repercussions for violating do not call vary from fines to lisence revocation, both only apply to legitimate businesses.... every time they call, report them to the FTC not the FCC, follow up with local police, then finally with track phone....
