just got a call this morning from (802) 230-6357. I pushed the record button when I answer the phone. It was rachel AGAIN, from card holder services. I get these calls all the time. I live in a one party state so I record them every time they call and I try to find out who they work for. In one call, me and the guy started cursing on each other when I told him I was on the do not call list, and I told him I was recording the call.I have reported these people several times to the donotcall.gov website, but so far, nothing has changed.I don't think it is a real company, I think it is a group of organized criminals trying to steal credit card information.Regardless, everyone should report this to donotcall.gov, and if it is legal to record phone calls in your state, you should do so, that way their voice can be analyzed to identify these people when they get indicted.
This number has called me several times, I've ignored it.. until today. I hit the number one to see what happens, I had the rudest jerk. First he was super sweet (I pretended like I was intrested in their deal)- the minute he figured out I was not intrested & I was trying to get information from him, he turned real fast. Called me a [***], told me to f*** off. I told him I was on the do not call list with the us goverment, he said "so!! the computer automatcally calls numbers" I said "well put in your computer do not call this numbar, he than said "that's too bad for you! I don't know what to tell you, I can't do anything, and do you think I give a [***]. You know how many times a day, I hear that?, do you think I really care about you?" I told him I was filing a complaint against him & his company, he told me he didn't care & to go ahead & try to find out who he was. I told him he didn't need to talk to me that way & I than lied & told him I was taping our conversation, he hung up on me. I tried to call back, phone # does not take calls.
These people keep calling every 2 -3 days. I have no intrest in anything they have to say or offer. They keep calling evern though I ask them to stop
They call my landline too. And it's an unlisted number. Both my phones are on the DNCR. I report every number they call from and it does no good. Yes, they do used forged numbers, I've tried calling the number back just to see who answers, usually a disconnected number or a fax machine. Yes, they are after your cc and bank info so they can rip you off. I don't even have a credit card and they still call.
Received a call from Ashley Thomas. Told us that my father has a wife, in Chicago, and a $17.42 bill at Walmart on a Chase Visa. After being told numerous times that he is divorced and has no credit cards, she still argued that he was married two years ago and is an authorized user on his wife's card. The number they called was used as a "reference". These people call non-stop. When trying to get her number, which was 1-800-953-????, I had to wait 3 minutes for a supervisor. She also questioned my age and if I really wanted to wait 3 minutes and called me a F***ing B***h. After I received the "supervisor" she asked for my credit card number, which I said I do not have one with you...told my story...as she was apologizing...the phone miraculously hung up! Grrrr!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the guys suggestion a few pages back, he provided a link to a credit card number generator- I saved their number on my cell as ":scammer" so I will be ready for them next time they call and my goal will be to keep them on the phone as long as I can and give them as much bogus info as they want. May as well have some fun and waste their time for a change!
ldursusStop telling people to go to the do not call list. That list is a fricking joke. All it does is give these scummy people more numbers to call...
