4-19-2012 @ 11:37am CSTTypical scam behavior as others describe. I get these calls on both the cell phone and home phone, at least 1-2 times per day. The numbers on the caller ID may be fake, but I am actively pursuing ways to trace their calls with the assistance of the FCC.If you get a call from ANY person saying "I'm with Card Services", or "Card Member Services" or any other darned thing that makes it sound like they're calling you about your credit cards, they're fake - that simple. If you have EVER had a credit card, you already know that they NEVER call you to offer specials rates. The information will only come by mail or if YOU initiate the call.So.. the lesson is "They're ALL fakes. Just hang up because they'll keep trying if they think you're stupid enough to listen to them." They may keep calling no matter what you do, unless the FCC starts actually enforcing Federal laws.

Add another number to this list 503-468-5986they called 5 min after the 617 call when I didnt answer either, saw the number on my ID and knew it was THESE RECHED LEECHES!! I have decided NEXT time they call (surely by this afternoon) I will answer and simply say I WON the lottery and now have millions so no need to call back!Do NOT call has so many of these numbers as I get them I report them but it seems to be a waste of time since they do not do a thing...

Me too!!! I started saving the numbers in my phone as spam! I've been hung up twice today!!

Same as all the rest. The FCC does not seem to be getting anywhere with these spam calls. If it's not possible to stop the calls, we should at least stop paying the people at the Do Not Call Resgistry. Call your congressmen and senators.I believe they should also go after the phone providers for numbers that are identified as spammers that call numbers on the Do Not Call List. If you fined them as accomplices, maybe these could be shut down.

THESE PEOPLE ARE HARASSING ME ON A DAILY BASIS! I'M SICK OF THIS SHIAT AND THE NUMBER THEY CALL IS MY CELL PHONE, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I'VE FILED COMPLAINT, AFTER COMPLAINT. IT SEEMS THESE COMPANIES JUST START A NEW PHONE NUMBER AND THEN START SPAMMING YOU FROM ANOTHER ONE. THIS IS LAME AND NEEDS TO END!

Asking or begging telemarketers to stop calling does not work.Attempting to contact them is impossible.Filing a complaint with the FTC takes years.Getting angry or upset just makes it worse.Complaining on message boards accomplishes nothing.You have two options:1. Ignore the calls and continue to be harassed.or2. Answer the call, pretend you're interested and WASTE THEIR TIME.Wasting their time is effective because it disrupts their scam and annoys them.
