yeah sometimes when i have a few minutes I just answer and jerk them around with B.S. answers to their question. I had one idiot on the line for a bout 20 minutes while I "lookd" for credit card numbers...finally the moron realize what I was doing, other times I turn it in to a obsence call and ask them what they are wearing or it they know what I have in my hand;;;
Get consistent calls and calls on my fax line. Never leave a message. Also call my cell phone. leave no message. All of my numbers are registered on do not call list. annoying!!!!
Asking or begging telemarketers to stop calling does not work.Attempting to contact them is impossible.Filing a complaint with the FTC takes years.Getting angry or upset just makes it worse.Complaining on message boards accomplishes nothing.You have two options:1. Ignore the calls and continue to be harassed.or2. Answer the call, pretend you're interested and WASTE THEIR TIME.Wasting a telemarketer's time is the most effective thing you can do because it disrupts their scam.
This is a company called Card Services. They're a scam company that uses as many as ten different phones numbers. In addition to this 802 number they also use 617-230-6357 and 303-249-9700. These people are totally lawless and will hang up on you when you ask them to take your name off their list. I get as many as five calls a day from these people. The CA PUC, local cops and Verizon are doing absolutely nothing to shut these people down.
Just found this site, thank you!!! I'm getting calls from this number and several others, I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, if it's important they'll leave a VM. However, these calls will go to voicemail and then hang up! WTHeck is wrong with these idiots!! I'm looking into the suggestion from "Jackson" about an app you can download to your android, hopefully it works!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.
