I just got the same call, "Investigator Perry" he called himself. Glad I decided to look this up... I called my phone company and they suggested I call the local law enforcement. I'm waiting on their return call now.

Received a phone call asking for my husband by name. Stated a restraining order had been place on him. I told them he was unavailable. I was told that if I called the number me being his wife they would give me the same information he would have been given.My call was from special investigator Christie Little from Document and Seizure who cave me a case number an a phone number of 803-369-3108 to call. She stated we need to call right away or the pending restraining order would turn into an active restraining order.I didn't even bother to call the number. Googled the phone number and found we are not the only one receiving this call. Thanks to all of you for posting your information.

Call the attorney general office in your state!

I got this call on my answering machine too...they're still at it...her name was Amy Stewart. Talked very fast and left this numer 803-369-3108. I am so glad I looked this up and saw all these replies. My stomach has been in a knot...this may be from some old debt but they have no right to be calling and how did they get my unlisted number. I will be reporting this.

I have received these calls in the past and it's always someone with broken English. Once I never answer numbers I don't know so they leave a voice mail. I get the number report them then the calls stop. I got one again yesterday from Special investigator Kay Lee. "I have been named the respondent in a case with a restratinting order against me." She also said a RUD number as a case number, told me to give this information to my attorney and that I had 24 to 48 minutes to call back. This is a big scam! She never gave me a company name. Usually on these call if I listen close I can tell they are driving down the road on a cell phone. I always get a different number. One guy that used to call me called once I reported him then he called back about a month later with the same name different phone number. His name was Charlie Brown. numberinvestigator.com is another good place to go when you get these types of calls. They didn't have this one, 308-369-3108, but they are going to look in to it.

My parents recieved a call from the same company and number above last night, claiming that a restraining order was being filed. They left a file number and my father called back this morning. They stated that it was in reference to me. I then called this morning to inquire and they stated that I had an outstanding credit card debt from an account that was closed in 2007. Stated that I owed $9,000.00 and that Bank of America was the financial backer on the card. I asked who the card was issued by and he could not tell me. He continued to try to get me to state the last four of my social # and also stated that I would be served and have a chance to tell the judge. He could not give me any information. Scam!!! I never had a card of that type and owed nothing to noone in 2007. When I told him to load his wagon and come get me, he hung up. Not normal. BEWARE!!!!

Said I had a restraining order against me! This is the second messege in 4 months I got from this number with different claim id numbers attached so I know its bogus.

Receiveda call from special investigator about court.

I got a call for this number saying that I owe money and was being taken to court for a payday loan. I asked for something in writing and they said they were only a middleman trying to settle.Has anyone gotten a call like this from this number?

They just called my phone too and this is not the first time. I committed the mistake of putting my information in one of those cheap websites. The first time they called saying it was about some copyright infringement and now they say it is about some legal action being taking against me and immediately offer if I want to settle. When you call a few days later, this phone numbers are usually disconnected. It is a scam. I just hope everybody researches before giving their money to those people.
