I got a message tonight, September 8, at 6:27 from "Dockets, Liens, and Seizures." Something about a restraining order against me. The message said I should contact my lawyer and have him return a call to them within 24 to 48 hours. Fortunately, they were not asking for me, but for someone else. The so called agent's name was Michelle Davis. I called the number and left three messages before getting smart. I actually left my name and number, asking them to please call me back. Who do you call to make a complaint about scam artist.
Wow, talk about adding insult to injury! I hope your scans came back negative. My cousin was targeted as well. She says that they buy old debts (debts that have been paid off), and attempt to "double dip" scamming you for the amount a second time.I hope you gave them hell.
Thanks for posting these people should be ashamed of themseleves harssing people like this, I am a victim of ID theft & have gotten a police report & everything & they still want me to pay back money I didnt even borrow, funny thing is way before they claimed I borrowed this money I started to consolidated my debt & closed all my credit cards & why would I mess up my credit getting a loan this not paying...anyways thanks for posting & sorry for all the trouble.
Received a message on phone line that this company called Docket, Liens, & Seizures and I was having legal actions taken against me and they left a docket number. My wife called it back and of course they will not deal with her. So I called and they stated that I was going to have to go to court locally and that it was for a Pay-Day loan. I informed her that we received harrassing phones calls on this from people that could not speak english. They cussed us like dogs and said things that a collection agency should not say. This company today sound legal enough, until I read this stuff today. When will they STOP!!!! We never got a loan or anything. Glad I did not give any information....
THIS IS A SCAM NUMBER!!!! The caller left a message from Erica Glenn saying we were being sued for non-payment of an outstanding loan from 2007 from HSC and we had a restraining order and needed to respond within 48 hours. We have never had a loan from HSC. When my husband called back, the guy wouldn't transfer the call to Erica Glenn - because she doesn't exist - and became rude! When he started asking for further information and to talk to the supervisor, he was hung up on. They also called his elderly mother to try to get information. They give you the option of choosing 1, 2 or 3 but the same guy answers every time. Total scam!!!!
As an additional note, we have contacted the local police to alert the area of this scam.
I just got a call from this number and they called my mothers house as well saying I had a restraining order placed against me in SC and needed to call DLS at 18033693108 with a docket number VEC-1600 that I had obtained a payday loan from cashnet on line and refused to pay it back. I knew it was a scam because I received a similar call back in January that scared me half to death, I looked the company up on line and found it was a scam. I was so relieved.Kathy
My mother in law had a voicemail on her home phone. The message was from a Bella Rosa, stating that the message was in regards to a "continuing complaint of restraint" against me (My maiden name, which I haven't used in years). Called the number twice. The first call I was on hold for 10 minutes and when a man, not Bella Rosa obviously, picked up. I told him I was calling in response to a detailed message left on someone else's machine pertaining to me. He asked for my name, I told him how about I give you this reference # and you can tell me what this is in regards to seeing as it was ok to leave a detailed message on a voicemail that wasn't mine. He got a bit rude so I got rude back, reluctantly gave him the name on the voicemail, then the reference #. He asked if my name was _________, I said yes but I guess he didn't hear me because he asked me if that was me again.... I shouted "YESSS!!"... he said "You can go somewhere", or something like that and hung up on me. I immediately called back and was on hold for almost 30 minutes. Hmmm, I highly doubt this is a true collection agency. They DON'T hang up on you when you get rude, in fact, they get more rude. Trained debt collectors are taught how to deal with people who cry, yell, curse, etc. So, forget them, I wasn't born yesterday!!!
