I got a call from these no good get overs today. Saying that I had a legal complaint against me, and that I had to respond within 24-48 hours and the alpha data number for my attorney was TCH1864. The lady said her name was Tammy Ferrell and that she was a federal investigator. Phone number 803-369-3108. Glad I Googled this I am so relieved. Location Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Call me and tell me that I am facing a lien, fraud, subpoena and now they are gonna contact my employer and have my wages garnished! I DON'T THINK SO! the giveaway was when they used my maiden name (i've been married for 22 years) and said that this debt was from 2005 for HSBC in the amount of 1,394.82 (I have an active account with HSBC) I know exactly what my finances are and what bills I have, do they think that they can convince me other wise? these people are a total SCAM! do not let them muscle you into doing anything.

Got a call from a Tracy Ferrell on my answering machine about my daughter who's been away in college for the past three years. She stated that she was a private investigator and left an affidavit number and phone number that needed to be called in order to take care of this upcoming legal matter which required her to attend court and that a restraining order had been filed. She repeated the affidavit number and phone number so that it could be given to her attorney and that he/she had 24-48 hours to respond. She also called my daughter on her cell phone with the same threats. When my daughter asked her questions she got belligerent and hung up on her.What this idiot Tracy Ferrell didn't anticipate was that her father was actually an attorney and of course jumped right on this. Of course he couldn't get through and picked up that this was a scam. I'm glad everyone is leaving information about their experiences because this will be very helpful to someone who may not have immediate access to an attorney. It's ridiculous that with all the pain and suffering people are enduring with the current economical state of this country that you have these pariahs trying to scam people.If any of you con-artists are reading this remember you will eventually reap what you sew and no job is worth losing your integrity! You are shameless scum suckers and no good will come to you and you're bringing shame on your family! And one final note...I'm not going to let you win especially after I received flowers today from my daughter saying what a great mom I was...and yes this was before you idiots called.

Received call from 847-631-1699 leaving a message for my son, who has not lived with me for many years, advising him that a complaint has been made against him, giving an affidavit # and suggesting his attorney contact this number, 803-369-3108 within 24-48 hours as there was a restraining order involved. Both numbers have had debt collector scams reported. After being very concerned for a while, I realized that any legal action would be served in person by the police. Needless to say, this is some sort of scam. I have not called either of the numbers back.

They are calling my phone non stop as well as my parents phone and my sister in laws phone. I'm tired of it! It's an obvious scam because they wont mail me anything or tell me anything about my "fraudulent activities". When I asked them to identify themselves they mumbled and said there was static on my end. This is the third time Ive had to deal with this in a month!

My god, these idiots…A restraining order? For a debt? I think someone in India learned a new word.
