It is a Scam in which they try to make you believe you must pay to avoid having legal actions taken against you. Ironic, that is so illegal, and there is usually no one you can reach about it.

My husband just got a call (actually they left a voice mail at my father in laws and step daughter) wont give me any information .. My husband called, asked for information to be faxed to him of what they are claiming he owes..all they say you must settle right now or we will serve you papers.. ? serve away!

I just got a call from this company saying that I had a court action against me and that I had 48 hours to respond and was welcome to forward it to my attorney. They only called my cell phone number not my home number, which is not private. Additionally, they called my children's phones which are all on one cell phone account. They said I had taken out a loan at Cash Advance and was being sued for $1200.00.

I just got a call from this number saying the same thing I have 48 hrs to call them back and that this was a special agent calling about it. I have no idea what this is about. What has happenend to you since you go this call.

I got a voicemail on my home phone from someone calling herself Special Agent Christie Little. She said that she was calling to notify me of a legal complaint that was being filed against me and I should be aware that it involved a restraining order. She left me a claim/affadavit number and the 803 number. I was relieved to see all these posts here...

Add me to the list. Mine was actually a message left at my home number for my father in law. Yogini- have you been listening to my voicemail? Except that my agent's name was Stella Rose, that is word for word what mine said.

I just got a call from this number at my mom's house. They referenced my maiden name which I haven't had for over 7 years. It was from a mumbling person that stated he was a Special Investigator named Mr. Perry (or something like that, it was really hard to understand this person). He said there was a court action against me and it sounded like somethng about a restraining order and that there was a court action for me to appear and that I had 48 hours to respond and talk to my attorney. He referenced a file number. I called back and it went to some answering service. I didn't leave a message. Glad I googled the phone number. I was about to freak out and had no idea what this was about.

I RECEIVED A PHONE, WELL ACTUALLY THEY CALL MY FATHER-IN-LAWS PHONE AND LEFT A MESSAGE. I CALLED AND TALKED TO SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF GRACE SNOWDEN SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE ME TO COURT FOR A PAYDAY LOAN FROM CASH ADVANCE. THEY WANTED ME TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THEM, IN WHICH I DIDN'T.THEY SAID THEY WILL BE SENDING ME A SUBPOENA FOR COURT.

I just got a call telling me that a restraining order was filed against me if I don't appear in court for an outstanding debt in 2005. they wanted to confirm one of my previous addresses and the first 3 digits of my social sec. no. which I didn't confirm or deny. They use a lot of legal terms which makes this sound believable. I work in the legal field so I got suspicious right away. They claimed an action for fraud has been filed against me. Hilarious...I'm going on with my day! :) Total bogus!

Just got the call/ message on my home phone. Has anyone been able to determine how we have all been targeted?Has the police/ Fbi/ FTC been notified.803-369-3108 Scammers. I hate them.
