No point blocking the number, they keep changing it. DO Not Call, does not work. If I haven't got time I don't answer a number I do not recognize. If I have the time I like to answer and lead them on as long as possible, keep looking up more info for them or any other stalling tactic I can use. If nothing else I know they are not bothering someone else while I am having a little fun. If everyone took this attitude I suspect things would change very quickly.

Got a pre-recorded message about some credit card offer and to press "1" to speak to a live person. We are on the CRTC's DNC list and they still call us. Now tell me, wasn't this DNC list a bunch of BS.

This number is from a call center located in Florida. Their head office is in Washington. I just received a call and told them that I work in a call center. They advised that they are a financial services company. I asked why I keep getting calls after asking to be placed on the Do Not Call list (which is a National list). They hang up on you. They are not allowed to do that. I am attempting to file a complaint against the company. When I try to search online for them, I keep getting a site called US LEC of Virginia, LLC. If anyone has ideas on how to reach them to file a formal complaint, I will gladly join you.

They call here almost daily. The first time, I asked where they got my # from and got a hang up. Next time, decided to play a bit. Faked interest in the 6% interest rate and asked what they needed to proceed. "Ariel" wanted a credit card #, date of birth, and atleast a 300K (no joke) credit card debt to qualify. Asked her how she can morally do this to which she replied "I dont care" then hung up.Today, answered call again, pressed 1. Guy answered. Advised him that I know it's a scam. He denied it, got irate. Told him that if it was legit, he wouldn't talk like that. Told him not to call anymore. He told me that "because of this, we are going to call you double!" Then hung up.Moral of the story: They are going to call you as long as they want. It is up to you if you want to mess with them or not. Me, I want to mess with them because at least then, I hang up with a smile on my face instead of being ticked off!FYI: Im in Canada and on the DNC registry. Reported the # and they told me that they already have tons of complaints about it. They are working at getting some cross border cooperation with the Americans to put an end to this type of harrassment.

Well, it's been 16 days since I called them and asked to be on their DNC list......AND....they're still F'N calling me....sometimes 2 times a day again.....what does it take to get them to stop?
