thank you for the info on 807 788 1246 , it appeared on my mom's phone bill ..thanks to you i called northern telephone and they dropped the charges ..this time only ..i wish the problems would never more happen ..lol ..guess that would be too lucky

We were charged $2.99 on 14 August for 2 minutes. We did not call this number.

Every month since Nov. 2015, on our Rogers bill (Nov. Dec. 2015, Jan. 2016), we have been billed $3.49 plus 13% HST = $3.94 for Third Party calls for 1:00 min. - Directory Assistance Service Charge for calling 807-788-1246, which we never did.I have called Rogers several times to report this scam, but Rogers would not do anything to stop it probably because Rogers (like all the other phone companies) gets paid by customers who do not check their monthly charges carefully. I have to call Rogers EVERY month to have the $3.94 charge removed from my bill. How long will this scam continue? Is there something we can do to stop it? Is CRTC the organization that can put a stop to this constant and blatant scam?

I just got off the phone with Shaw over two charges from Triton Global. They apparently haven't looked into this scam, as they said they would months ago, because they wouldn't reverse the charges saying it was a legitimate third party long distance directory for chat lines, radio contests and other weird calls and that Shaw deals with them regularly. Panasonic cordless phones have a built in call block and this number will be priority one on mine. I'm also going to report this number to the CRTC.

Received our Bell bill, which included a charge from a company called Triton Global Assist-ann for $3.49 and tax. I called Bell to inquire about this charge, they informed me that I would need to call Triton at 1-866-340-4990 and ask them to block my number. Also, to ask about the call. The lady at Triton was very vague, and was quick to put the onus back on Bell. I reiterated that I would like our number removed. I then called Bell back, and told them what she had said. In the end the amount charged by Triton could not be removed, but the CS rep was able to reverse the amount in another area on my bill. Triton Global is a legit business, but apparently some of the businesses that they collect for are not on the up and up.

Same thing here, was billed 2.99$ by Bell for that Triton Global number that we never heard of (september 5, 2014). Called Triton Global and the girl told me she will remove the fee "for this one time", like it's a favor from her side... whatever.There is no way I would EVER pay for something I didn't do and nobody should.
