This is a directory assistance service and they will not credit you back. You should, Must call them at 1-866-340-4990 and they will put your number on the Do Not Call List and no services. Then they can not block you. I never called but still was billed. Fido said that only Triton could credit you and they refused. I did get my number blocked.I also blocked my cell numbers.

If this caller called me, why am I paying for it. Who does this number belong to?

Don't know why they are calling and I am being charged for it?

Got a bill for this call. Did I make it? Called Bell in Ontario. Apparently any 411 or operator assist is billed $3.49 from this 3rd part (Triton). Tough luck, ma Bell says. Don't use operator or 411 or you'll get the charge.

I saw a charge on my Aug 2016 Shaw phone bill for $3.89 from "Alternate Long Distance Provider - Triton Global". There is no record of anyone in my home using Directory Assistance of any kind on that day. Besides, any time we've used it in the past, there is a 99 cent charge from Shaw, not these clowns. The Shaw rep gave me their customer support number for me to dispute this charge. She also suggested I instruct Triton to block my phone number in their system, so that I can never inadvertently use their "service" (haha - service). The number is 1-866-340-4990. Oh yes, Shaw refused to reverse the charge.

I'm having the same problem. Guys this serious issue and this need to be solved... the list is growing...

Just got this $ 3.49 charge from 807 788-1246 called Bell. Triton Global shows as a Canadian company. The charges however have been reversed as a one time exception. Please advise security of this fraud, its well documented on the internet.. Please STOP CRIME !!!

That is completely correct, they actually call you and depending on your phone or services and if the call is picked up it charges $3.89/min ....

I noticed this number on my December bill and didn't recognize it so I looked it up online. Found ALL these messages and was pretty annoyed to see how long this has been going on. I called NorthernTel (Bell) this morning hoping they would do the right thing for me as they have for others who posted so. A woman said she could not reverse the charge and that I would have to call Triton Global directly. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I am still waiting for them to return my call. I called Triton while waiting to hear from NortherTel\Bell and had them block my number. Then I asked them to reverse the charge as I did not make the call. The woman refused saying that she can't. When I asked to speak to someone else she the only other person is the owner and he doesn't take calls. So I also blocked my cell. Hopefully NorthernTel will handle this the right way or they will lose my business. Although it doesn't seem to make a difference and so many others have experienced the same issue with Telus, Shaw and Rogers. I don't understand how both companies can say that they can't reverse the charge. Someone HAS to be responsible for this!
