I've had this call -- it's a spoofed number (poor guy who owns the number must be going crazy). It's obviously an over-seas scam that's targeted different areas. I put in a fake card number 4128 01712 345 678 777 (or something to that effect) and then a fake exp date 1/13, and then a fake pin 1234, and waste their time.... but, what it does is GET THEM TO NOT CALL BACK. The reason they are working small areas (such as Port Angeles, and parts of Montana) is that a number of people are fooled and actually do put in card numbers. It only takes one, and these robocall programmed computers ((lets face it -- it is an older desktop computer that sits on the internet and calls, calls calls) can call several thousand people an hour, for free (using Skype or some other Internet VOIP. I say overwhelm them with bogus card numbers and take up their time!

Have gotten 5 call in the late 5 day on this scam

Recieved automated call saying my debit card would be canceled due to fraud and asked to press 1 to get it fixed.Hung up right away since this was not a card I recognized as mine.

My wife and I both got calls on our cell phone from this number, mentioning a bank we don't use.

I also just received a call on my cell phone from this number. I didn't answer, however I tried calling the number back from a landline phone. It was not a working number. Hmmm....

I got a call from the number telling me my debt card has been inactivated and asked for my debt card number to reactivate it.. I did not enter my number as I knew it was a scam.

I just had a call from this number about a card I don't use. What a crummy scam.

I'm also from SE washington state. I received a call from this number at 3:38pm, saying my Whitman Credit Union (not my bank) card needed to be reactivated. Thankfully I didn't fall for it and hung up.I reported this number by emailing reportphishing@antiphishing.org.I tried calling the FTC number but the offices were closed.

10pm received an automated message on my cell phone that my credit union card has been deactivated due to a security breech. Instructs recipient of call to dial 1 to reactivate card. I do not possess a credit union card, nor would I have responded to what was obviously a scam.
