I have received 2 phone calls the last 2 days. I had been on Davids Bridal Website looking at dresses and somehow they got my information. I was able to call the number back and talk to a person and they promised me the same deal as long as I came to Toledo Airport Holland Courtyard this Fri to get my prize of a 3 day 2 night trip and $1000 from Grocery Card USA. All you have to do is watch a cooking demo for 15 min and talk to them about your trip. I am suspicious so I went online to www.rpbrides.com like they said and it has the info there about the giveaway. So then I googled the phone number and found this.

ok i got the call yesterday in a message called back today and tomarrow is the meeting in kzoo my fiance thinks it sounds good and we are supposed to go but he dont know that i found all of this so we are planing on going hope its not really a scam i will be very pissed, have to much to worry bout.

RP BRIDES IS A SCAM. I TALKED WITH A GIRL NAME CALLY & SHE TOLD ME I COULD BRING MY BOYFRIEND OR THE PERSON WHO IS HELPING ME PLAN THE WEDDING, SOMEONE LIKE MY MOTHER.SO LAST NITE ME & MY MOTHER WENT TO THE HOTEL IN PLYMOUTHMEETING PA & WAS TOLD I HAD 2 BRING MY BOYFRIEND.THAT'S NOT WHAT CALL SAID.WHEN I CALLED THEM BACK CALLY NEVER PICKED UP THE PHONE. SOME [***] NAME JOANN DID AND SHE WAS SOOOO IGNORANT.THE SHOULD LOCK UP THESE PEOPLE FOR RUNNING SCAM ON PEOPLE.WHO IS GOING 2 REIMBURSE ME FOR TOLL AND GAS. **** STAY AWAY FROM RP BRIDES ** SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I received a call from RP Bride. I was skeptical but my fiance and I decided to go just to find out for ourselves. I found this site and was concerned from what some of the people have said--but I also noticed that no one who said it was a scam actually went to the presentation. I like to make up my own mind.I just got back. As far as I can tell it is all legit. We sat though the presentation, which was rather entertaining, and we were so impressed with the cookware demonstration that we bought a set. They gave us the certificates for the vacation, and another vacation package as well since we made a purchase. The $1000 grocery card is actually a membership card to go online and get manufacturer's coupons. I have not tried it yet, so I don't know what the real value is of that yet. But all in all the claims of the lady who called me about the presentation were exactly true. It's good to be skeptical. But don't be so cynical as to assume any good offer like this must be a scam. Check it out for yourself.

When I got the call from RP I was excited, but something was telling me it may be to good to be true. RP brides didn't ring a bell to me as some company I had talked to at the local bridal expo. Surprise, surprise, I just took my bridesmaids to David's Bridal for thier dresses. I have had nothing but problems with David's Bridal and if you want you wedding planning to go smoothly I would advise you go somewhere else. Thanks to all of you for posting your stories. I will not be attending my pots and pans meeting tomarrow. I am a little concerned about the girl who never even went to a meeting and then had a 767.00 bill in collections anyway. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any idea how you prevent this from happening? Thanks again on your stories, best wishes on your special day and Happy Planning.

there's similar presentations to this, it's a marketing tactique they use. and it's working in maybe 20% of the time they sell something, that's why it's worth for them to give away the gifts.it's not a scam. i've recieved presents like this before, regardless of weather i purchased or not.u people should open up your minds and think people over before filling your hearts and days with pessimism and bad feelings, talk.then in exchange for giving it a try u could get a couple sunshine filled days. however, u won't looose anything.
