I blocked my number and dialed them back. A tape answer claimed the call was for Planned Parenthood.

Is this planned parent hood (who I support) or one of the evil anti-woman organizations working their particular brand of evil to make planned parent hood (an excellent orgination) look bad.

I called after 5 pm Pacific time and got an answering machine for GSI Commerce on behalf of Planned Parenthood. I left a message saying that any charity or political organization that contacts me on my private home phone will never get a dime from me and if they keep calling me I'm going to start giving a donation to The National Right-To-Life Foundation or whatever the organization is opposing them every time they call me even though I've never donated to those other organizations previously.As far as being polite to phone solicitors, I politely tell them how much I HATE having my privacy invaded and that there are better ways to make a living. There are people who stand out in front of business's wearing funny costumes waving signs that get paid a similar wage and you aren't bothering anyone by doing that an it pays more than minimum wage.Or you could be a greeter at a Wal-mart and get pay plus benefits and you'd get to see some interesting and unusual people and be entertained.I find that offering helpful advice like that is probably just as effective as any blatant insult but then I don't have to be angry about it and it's really just a form of passive aggression that makes me feel like I'm getting some small amount of revenge on people who aren't sure if I'm insulting them or not,

I don't think that's the case. Recently I enquired about a Democratic candidate and since then I've been getting calls from other what would be considered Liberal organizations asking me to support various causes.But what I don't understand is how they got my phone number because anytime I do anything on-line I never give my real phone number. I have nothing against planned parenthood but I don't think they should conduct business in this way. I would suggest that you call them and tell them so if you're concerned that it's hurting the organization..

went Amazon and got a call blocker that store 1000 numbers. Paid $69 and the darn thing works like a charm. Once you enter "reject" on the number on the screen, that caller won't be a problem again. Phone rings once and stops. Who know what happens on the callers' end. Who cares, I got peace again.

Called yesterday and again twice today, doesn't leave a message.

They call every night and interrupt our peace and quiet. We want it to stop now or they will be subjected to more and more abusive language.

I keep getting calls from GSI at 858-496-2107. I pick up the phone and they keep hanging up. I can't even tell them to quit calling. I googled the number and there are many, many complaints about them. I just want the calls to stop.

This number calls my landline every two days at almost the exact same time; when I answer, says nothing until I say, "well, it's YOUR long distance charges, we can sit here all night on your dime," then the caller hangs up. Blocked my number & called the number that appears on caller id (Gordon Schwenkm 858-496-2107) & received a recorded message informing me it is GSI Commerce. Googled "GSI Commerce" and discovered it is a telemarketing firm owned by ebay. I had the courtesy they are lacking and left the following message: We are listed on the national do not call registry; you should probably stop calling my house every two days to protect your assets from my harassment lawsuit.
