Thank you to everyone that has done research on this number. They call me regularly too in late afternoon or evening. I always check the site when I get an unrecognized call. FYI. ..you can't block your phone number when you call a toll free number. They still get your number on their caller id. My phone company confirmed this a few years ago. It is some stupid design of the phone companies to ensure that your number is passed to those that need to get it like law enforcement but also includes all toll free numbers. I found out by calling Comcast and trying to block my number so I could get info without them knowing who I was. Their automated system knew my number even though I was blocking it.

This number calls my home frequently. I don't pick up.

CID said Gordon Schwenkn, 858-496-2107. I answered to have fun with them. They turned out to be from Planned Parenthood asking for a contribution since they said I had contributed before. Totally inaccurate. Never happened. After laughing at him, I told him they need to stop selling dead baby body parts, which he denied ever happened. He said abortion is only about 3% of their business, to which I said that was 3% too much. He decided to correct their records and not call again. We'll see.

I keep getting a call from the same number. I'm reporting them and hope they get a huge fine.

Just calls all the time but never leaves a message.

All I could find out through Google was that it is a telemarketing firm in San Diego. I, too, never pick up and they never leave a message. Thank goodness for caller ID!

Wow. This really takes it. We've told these S. Gordon people on three previous occasions that we don't care which charity they're calling about, we don't want to talk to them. Stop calling. We aren't giving any more money at present. Tonight they called yet again. When I saw their name on CID I couldn't believe it. Again? Really? After what we told them? The guy asked to speak to my wife, J. I said what is wrong with you people? We told you not to call us again! He replied by saying there was nothing wrong with him and if J. was home, to put her on the phone. Huh? You call my home and give me orders? And then you expect us to give you money? I tried to stay calm and said she already told you halfwit drones that she didn't want to speak to a fundraiser or whatever you call yourselves these days. He demanded to speak to her once again at which point I told him to f*ck off and hung up. Next time we let the machine answer. First class as*holes.

If, as a few of the above posters related, this is a call on behalf of a charity the Do Not Call list does not apply. Only callers attempting to sell you goods or services are required to remove numbers on the Do Not Call list from their calling lists. However, other callers are required to place you on their internal Do Not Call lists when you request them to. Sounds like these bozos are asking for a harassment lawsuit.
