Just got the same call and I wonder if there's a way to block this guys IP address? Before I knew what was happening I downloaded some of his software. I was suspicious When he asked if I was a senior, must be easier to scam seniors! I don't know if he has control of my computer so I wondered if I could block his IP address. Any help would be appreciated.

Someone called me from this number claiming I had an issue with my PC. I told him I had a consultant working on my PC and I thanked him for his concern... and hung up.
Lol reading these comments makes me wish I had hassled these scammers a little more. A man with an Indian accent called with the same Microsoft bullsh*t saying my computer is infected, initially calling for "Julia", I said wrong number but he called me a liar (lol?) so I asked who are you calling for, and he changed his answer to "there's no name" OK, lmfao so I told him I have no computer and he kept calling me a liar (how the f*ck would he know anyway) and hung up. If they call again I'm DEFINITELY messing with these asshats. Maybe try repeating everything they say in an Indian accent lmfao that should be hilarious
Do not answer. Fake IT support wanting to screw you over. They say "I am here to help you" okay couch cushion sniffer, be gone.
I was bored when I received the same call. The man with the India accent asked me if I knew my computer was infected and it was sending out viruses. I said I knew it was and that I collect them. He asked why and I told him that I send them out to other computers and that I just sent one to his computer. His voice got real concerned and he said what did you send to my computer? I said gotcha and hung up.
Telephone call to mobile phone 860 540 6999, Bristol, Connecticut, couldn't understand the caller, but he said he was calling from the Geek Squad about my computer. Told him twice I was unable to understand him, and he hung up.
Ca;;er with Indian accent calls me (other voices like a call bank in background) and said my firewall had contacted them and said there was a problem with my computer. I told him he was a BS artist and a scammer and I'd recorded the call and would forward it along to our local FBI office.

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
