Another lonely, troubled soul. Called and went to my answering machine but said nothing. Blocked now.
Number called me, I answered. They hung up. This happened twice. A third time I let it ring, and no message was left. This all happened within a minute.
quite shamefully keep calling my 90-year old mother's phone and her cell phone. We never give out the cell number as it is for family and emergencies...! I report to feds and nothing happens. I will block this call again and just hope they do not get through on another number.Unfortunately, the phone companies are not blocking known scam numbers and companies from calling--and, yes, they can block about 50% of these from the phone or cell company level. The other 50% we need to block and I do not know how they get through.We, the people, need a blocker that can block 10,000s of numbers....:)

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
