Yes, they are total jerks. I called to ask about a $6.00 charge, count, $6.00 that was on my credit report and they were totally rude. Reminder, I called them and the representative was totally rude even if you are trying to get to the bottom the situation.

Just got a voicemail on my cell phone from this number, and I knew it wasn't for me because they were talking about people I didn't know. So I tried to be NICE and call them back to let them know they have the wrong number. Got this guy who was incredibly rude, asking my name and number, saying I should give him this info because I don't know if I'm involved in the issue or not. I was trying to help THEM. He was a jerk.

Male caller is very pushy. TElls me my brother needs help. I inform him I do not have a brother (which I honestly do not) and he tells me yes I do have a brother and I need to do something about this situation. Constantly calling me, becomes aggressive on the telephone.

Recieved numerous call every day for the last 4 MONTHS! They say my number is not in their system and therefore cannot be taken off. I asked for their mailing address and threatened legal action and now they hang up on me when I call. Funny.

I got a loan from Buckeye, I have been paying it every month. Well this month the payment was due on Wendsday the 8th, I did not get paid until Friday the 10th. Over the weekend I did not ahve a chance to get by the office to make the payment. However I did make the payment this morning not even a week late to the branch office. Now at 3:30 my boss calls me into his office to listen to a message, its check smart corp office basicly leaving my boss a message about me not paying my bill. They did not call my work extention, that they have and it is listed on the company directory, did not call my cell or home number. Now my boss thinks I am a dead beat and could be in danger of lossing my job because of receiveing collection calls. You would think I hadnt paid them in MONTHS by the message that was left, not 5 days late!!

check smart sucks and they need to thats the only way they will get any money from me.

The state of virginia needs to control the way checksmart can call people all day long at there work. and home seven days a week sunday I got 16 calls talked three time to them they call you every thing in the book. told them to send me a paper bill and I would send a sert/check from bank they told me no.

I have inside knowledge of the Checksmart industry and who ever has been harassed at the hands of Checksmart should seek a lawyer ASAP. The collection process is meant to scare the daylights out of the consumer and when 1 person does complain its your word against theirs. But if a group of you get together and file a class action suit or even the threat the collection calls get a lot "nicer".

Wow! How about if you were fired from CSF because NO ONE IS PAYING! Everyone is broke! Everyone is getting laid off, on unemployment and if not getting ready to file bankrupt, then they already have! I feel for these people on the other end of the phone when i worked there cause I have been there and I am human so it was hard to get people to pay when they are broke, have cancer, just had a baby, just lost a family member, so on and so on! anyone out there been fired even though you went to work faithfully but was not collecting enough to suit csf needs? They even have new product in va that even if you make arrangents to pay they will take your money from your acnts! Before working here i had never done collections and i can see why now unless you are a money hungry. evil coniving person who knows how to bully then forget it they will make you work more than 40 hrs a week and some times add more at the last minute and if you dont bring in enough or you are not a favorite then they will can you what bull [***]!
