My family and I have all received letters from Hillcrest Davidson & Associates and our last names are not our real last names of these letters sent to us, but they somehow know our first names. This is obviously a scam. They even sent a letter addressed to my two year old daughter about a bill from an alarm company. I mean come on, really? So anyone who doesn't think this is a scam is an idiot and you can go ahead and be scared of them and pay them, but if there is no circumstantial evidence of you actually owing money to these companies, then just ignore them. If you try to contact them they will most likely ask you personal information to "verify" your account and there you go gettting scamed that easily!
My call was indicated to be from the fraud department of a law firm in Montgomery County with a case against our property and we had until 2 p.m. the following day to contact them. I was able to intercept the call from my answering machine before she completed her message. Originally she said the action was against the property, when I picked up she further stated that it was also against my spouse. Repeatedly she informed me that she was in the fraud dept of the law firm and was not a collection agency and was not calling to collect a debt for Pinnacle Securtiy. However, she did inform me that they just wanted their equipment back. When told to come and get it the door was always open to the technician, I was told to remove it myself. After wanting me to hold, which I did not do, she also informed me that she had a case holding against myself. If you will notice, to this point, legally, she had no authorization to tell me anything, I wasn't the named offender. I again told her they were more than welcome to the equipment, she then told me that the equipment was not the issue and that Pinnacle Security was offering a settlement of $1,000. When told we would not be paying a settlement she became abbrasive. All of this happened while she continued to contend that she was from a law firm and with the fraud department. By the time we ended our call she had threatened to call employers and stated that she was an investigator and would be able to find them. Additionally, I did inform her that our contract with Pinnacle Security had been cancelled nearly a year ago. I came online to find out who these people were because she would not provide any information, claiming all information was between her and the client and I was not allowed to see what was being claimed about us. Very interesting to find all the info I have seen. On a side note... life happens and people fall behind during hard times. Most of us don't intentionally stop paying our bills, many working up lovely anxieties over it. Having been through such circumstances I can tell the lovely collectors who have made such atrocious statements that in my past, the collectors or companies wanting the money I owe them always move to the top of the line when they are willing to have a respectful conversation with them. I have never owed a single collection company in my life, therefore I don't owe the person calling a dime. I can choose to utilize their service or I can pay the company I owe leaving it in the original company to "square it" with the collection company. The collection company loses in that case. Additionally, I would like to remind all those waspy tongued collectors... were it not for my hard time you would not be able to pay for the life you live, my hard times are your financial gain.
Hillcrest David and Assoc. have been calling me for a year. I laugh at them every time they call.I signed up with First Security and after 2 weeks they called and said there was a problem with my system and it was not registering. They scheduled a time to some out and 1 hour before they where suppose to come out they called to cancel. I tried to reschedule but they said they sold my contract and the the new place would be calling to schedule a time to come out. No one every called so after 2 months I called my credit card company to stop the monthly withdraw. Waited 3 months and finally SAI called and wanted payment. I explained what exactly happened they transferred me to service of which we they fixed the problem over the phone with the technician. I told them that I would approve the service going forward but would not pay for when it was not working. They wanted full payment and I asked them if they where willing to give up 2 years of payment for 3 months? They wanted full payment so after months and months of calls i reported them to the Attorney Generals Office. The have 1000's of complaints and now i have Hillcrest calling once in a while. I basically tell them to go pond sand.Hillcrest is like spam. They make a 1000 calls and someone pays that does not know any better. Before I got their service I even looked them up on the internet. I learned a lesson.
Callled from this number. identified as hillcrest.davidson, and associatestelling me i owed over 1200 for an alarm installation. beware of this company - i have no balance with a security company and have never had a balance.
You are an idiot. YOU DONOT PAY FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NOT RENDERED. First Line is a crappy company, that never sent anyone to repair a thing, went into bankruptcy, and is now trying to recoup their monies. DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!!!! Whomever wrote this post is obviously a bill collector themselves, or you wouldn't be so quick to defend their illegal practices.
I have received two calls in the past week asking for someone named “Cynthia Johnson”. The caller says that they need to talk with her about a “personal” matter. We have recently moved to this area and received the telephone number from Verizon. My guess is that “Cynthia Johnson” left a lot of debt and unfortunately, we now have the last telephone number that she had on record. I have talked to each vendor and explained the situation asking him or her to remove the number from his or her “delinquent” list.Unfortunately, when I attempted to return a call back to this number I receive a message that the “mailbox” is full and not able to accept any additional messages. The two most recent calls have come from the same number with two different extensions:866-524-9866 x-2127866-524-9866 x-2129
hey i know of that guy devin, and he DID only get his boy one gift for christmas. . . he has bills too, just like the rest of us!we all make mistakes, and WE ALL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM SOMETIME
Well Protect America never monitored my alarm! I have a defective alarm and notified them for about a year, I put it in writing to cancel per several of their employees including one Kerri and I contacted the CEO of Protect America as well. Their alarm constantly went off for no reason, disablingy phone system and Protect America NEVER contacted me, my emergency contact, or the police. My phone company confirmed that the phone on line is defective. To sell the alarm Protect America stated there was lifetime warranty, but failed to provide protection to my family and he. According to their contract if the fail to provide the service or are negligent they are responsible for my monthly rate times 6 months. I put this in writing; certified letter to Hillcrest because I guess Protect America thought they had a sucker ... No such luck for them! They breached their contract and with Washington's huge renewed interest in consumers and protecting us from getting ripped off I think we should send all of this type of harassing and illegal 1) failure to provide proper service because they know they are the ones with the deep pockets (you know breach of contract by big money - or at least bigger than ours. 2) illegal or questionable collection practices - after Hillcrest signed for this certified letter they called my home. Guess they need to educate themselves or just be taken down a notch! Send all of your complaints to The Hill and the let it all roll down!!
Stop picking your nose boogee and educate yourself! How about you give your full name and location when you call - and if asked for the we get to talk to a manager too!How about provide the service you contracted to do and if can't, and you say you are letting the customer out of the contract, the really do it. Otherwise you are nothing but a lowlife, bottom feeder - and not worth any of us wasting our valuable time with. If you hate your life so much that you want to make others miserable, may God have mercy on your soul - maybe you should reevaluate before it's too late!
