I check the voicemails from my department phones and there are a VM from them saying to call 1(877)501-9923. I haven't listed this number on any forms. It may be from an old employee here. I work in DC but I never drive here. I take the train to work so I know I couldn't have a ticket. Odd.

Here's a "vcard" you can import into your Gmail address book (and therefore have your Android cellphone synchronize with your addresses). It lists the full spectrum of numbers these [***] use. Set it to automatically send the call to voicemail. To use this, simply copy the code, paste it into a blank notepad document, then save that notepad file with an extension of ".vcf" to your desktop. then login to gmail, click "contacts" and then click "import contacts". Haha. I just had a voicemail from these turds calling from one of the numbers listed in that "vcard" post above. It worked. I was wondering how I had a voicemail but never missed a call, until I hear her saying I should call 877-501-9923 in the message (with no clue left what the call was about in that message, mind you). originally receive call from 414-831-1866, voicemail instructs me to call 877-501-9923... If this is for unpaid parking tickets, I DON'T have any... Can't be any other collections call as I have never given out my cell phone number to anyone... How do I get them to stop calling???

I kept getting calls at work from a "414" area code asking me to call 877-501-9923. I did have the same issues that everyone is talking about above, but finally today was able to get through. I read through this forum and was almost afraid to call them, but I did have a TCF Bank Account that I closed down but kept getting charges from my school. (I had an unpaid parking ticket at the college!) Back in December I attempted to pay this through their automated system but the line hung up before it gave me my confirmation number. I made a mental note to watch for it on my bank statements but forgot after about a week. Anyway, I call them up today to find out if my TCF Account was the culprit and it was. The first payment didn't go through because of the way I entered the expiration date or something like and so they've still been trying to collect. She actually saw the call from that day and the attempted payment and I double checked my bank statements for two weeks before and two weeks after that date just to be sure-I didn't want to pay this twice! Well I got it all straightened out today and the woman was actually really nice and if they haven't faxed my paid in full letter by Wednesday, she gave me her direct extension-which I've already tested to make sure it's valid. (I did that while I had her on hold). They may have had a few mistakes, but they are not a scam company.

You must work for them.

All of this is happening to me too...Do you have to 1. make an effort to block them with a letter?2. use a stamp with your money to send that letter?Sounds like someone (with all of our letters) will be getting money out of this!

It's a collection agency from Wisconsin about unpaid tickets. It's so funny becuase I don't drive and never had, and I'm 54yrs. old.

Stop the calls - write your congressional representatives in your state and the state of Wisconsin to strengthen the do-not-call legislation. Harassment knows no bounds. These are unscrupulous people with no sense of ethics or morality. One ring and they hang up, or worse, they ask for a name NOT associated with the phone number. DO NOT ANSWER calls from this number. IT IS NOT IMPORTANT THAT THEY CONTACT ANYONE.
