NOW THEY SAY THEY HAVE NEVER RECIEVED PAYMENT PLAN AND I GET IN THE PAST 5 DAYS 40 CALLS TO INCLUDE TODAY. (SUNDAY) . HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO GO ONLINE TO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE, FORGET IT.THEY CALL AND HANG UP BEFORE YOU CAN ANSWERE CAUSING YOU TO PAY EVEN MORE AS IT IS TIME CHARGED TO YOUR PHONE.WELLS FARGO, PLEASE LISTEN OR READ THIS AS I WILL SAY IT ONE TIME ONLY. 1. YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING MY DISIBILTY CHECK SENT BY VA. BAD FOR YOU, I CAN NOT BE REACHED BY PHONE ANYMORE AS ALL THE CALLS YOU KEEP MAKING TO ME HAVE DEPLEATED MY TIME FOR USAGE. I AH HAVING VA LOOK INTO THIS MATTER. YES I OWE WELLS FARGO MONEY AND THEY WILL BE PAID BACK. STOP THE CONSTANT HARRASMENT. THANK YOU.

I do have an overdrawn account with Wells Fargo. I wasn't able to answer the telephone so I called them and spoke with a representative. She didn't demand payment today but was able to see a direct deposit that went in yesterday (without me prompting that) and said she would make note that I would pay the remainder on Friday. So as much as I don't like the automated caller telling me to call back or them not leaving a message I do not think this is a scam.

This number 877-647-8551 calls my cell phone everyday including Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 5 times each day, many times when I am driving or at work and I think it could be an urgent call from home but it is not. I've tried answering the call on multiple occasions but there is no one on the other side. I've had this phone for almost a year, from the other posts I read this is a Wells Fargo Collection number. I don't have and have never had an account with Wells Fargo, this call is probably for the person that used to have this number before me, I want them to stop calling me. I think I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission to put a stop to these calls, they have been going on for almost two months and are really annoying.

I received a call from 1-877-647-8551 for 3 or 4 days in a row. The caller id said Wells Fargo. Today (6/9/2025) I answered and told the lady that we had no dealings with Wells Fargo. She said "Wrong Number?" and I said they need to check who gave my number.. She said she would take care of the wrong number.

I thought these phone calls and messages were to STOP due to a lawsuit?! Which I have paperwork stating this. But, I NEVER answer my phone for unknown numbers, they do however are blocked!

Yeah, my daughter is a banker at Wella Fargo! She says NEVER give anybody this info! They ONLY ask you your password!! SMH!!!!

READ: NO WELLS FARGO/ BANK EMPLOYEE WILL EVER..EVER!... ASK YOU FOR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS OR ACCOUNT NUMBERS OVER THE PHONE, EMAIL, OR OTHERWISE. DON'T EVER GIVE YOUR NUMBERS TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF YOUR BANK.Bankers have all that info so there is never a need for us to ask for it. Don't ever give it out. If you are really worried, stop into your local branch/bank and ask. Just tell these scammers to eat sh** and block the number. It's a lame scam that preys on the old and or people who don't know better. The pathetic losers that make these calls should really try to develop into human beings.

So how would you verify that you are speaking to the right person? Bank will always ask for your account number or the last four digit of social. You have no experience to be making that sort of comment.
