Ridiculous number

Asks for you by name and hangs up. Clearly fake phone number.

There seems to be a clear connection here between these calls and Wells Fargo mortage. I am in Mass. and we got four calls from them today. The only thing they seem to know is our phone number, that we have a WF mortage and the name that the mortgage is under. I called WF to complain but of course did not get a person and left a message. I would suggest anyone who is getting these calls but the pressure on WF, who is clearly connected. I just wish they would stop.

Ok, I finally spoke with a supervisor at Global Contact Services (Mt. Hope, WV) and they said they were working on behalf of National Union Fire Insurance Co. (Pittsburg, Penn.) who was selling insurance along with WF. I then called back WF who confirmed indeed they were selling the insurance. I told everyone I spoke with I wanted my name and number off the list. It's not a scam it appears but is/was very annoying. I hope it works out.

Same thing - annoying calls - 6 tonight alone - all in a 3 hour period. I have my mortgage with Wells Fargo as well. What do you all say we band together and set up a class-action lawsuit against them. I never signed any paperwork with Wells Fargo allowing them to use my information in this manner. They bought my mortgage from the original company I signed with later on.

Got this call today-- answered and no one said anything. Normally I just hang up if no one answers right away but I stuck on the line until I got a disconnect tone.

We've been receiving this call for awhile and we avoided it since the number was obviously funky looking. Finally today we decided to answer and it was someone claiming to be from Bank of America credit card services wanting to sell us a million dollar life insurance policy and my husband was like uh no thanks don't call us again which pretty much means we'll keep getting 50,000 calls from them. Annoying though!

Get a call from 888-123-4567 at least 2 times a day. When I answer no one is there.

They have ben calling my house for about 2 monthes.They will not stop

I've been getting a call every single morning around 9:30 AM for the last 2 wks and they are driving me crazy, no one is ever there, and they never leave a message,when I don't pick up. I've tried calling the number back and it says that the number is not in service.
