Left a message about Education Loans. Have they not heard of the Do Not Call List. How do you get rid of them?

I received a call at 9:19 a.m. this morning from a lady looking for Jared A. (I withheld the last name to protect this person, who apparently has the same last name as mine.) I told her that I did not know a Jared A. Maybe she/they are trying to contact everyone with the last name of "A" with that name.

It is calling non stop

I've been repeatedly receiving calls from this number. They call multiple times a day, no one on the line when I picked up, so I blocked them. Now I get several voice mails a day saying it's regarding a Navient account for someone named Jessica. I am not this person, and I do not have an outstanding student load with Navient. Finally fed up, I called Navient and have informed them of their error (a bit of a fun journey as every step of the way the say they require the social security number or account number for the load you're calling about. I finally got through to a human, who said they had to transfer me to a different human...you get the point. Eventually I got to someone who promised my phone number would be taken off their list in 24 to 48 hours. Fingers crossed they were telling the truth.

I used to have Sallie Mae years ago. From my divorce My exhusband Became legally bound to the payments so it's not my responsibility anymore. That's been 12+ yrs. They are relentless calling and my their phone number is blocked to boot! I am going to see who is suing them in the state of Florida because they are illegally harassing people. Even if you tell or had told them that I am not responsible they still harass! The statues of limitations should've ran out. Collection agencies of all sorts are dirty and they should all be accountable with the law. Period

I pay my bill and yet they call 3 or 4 times every day. Never missed and payment and never been late

They actually don't have options.

Since calls from this number began two days ago, I have received 11 calls from them. I have never had a student loan at all nor have I had a loan of any sort in the past 15 years. Why are they calling me? The number has been blocked!

Exactly right. My loans are deferred because I'm in school RIGHT NOW and not due ANY payments so they shouldn't be calling me ten times a day leaving no messages. I haven't moved, don't owe anything and none of my demographic info has changed. They're likely calling to be sure I didnt join the lawsuit against Navient.

I have been getting calls several times a day for, what sounds like a Dos Navular. This not me. I have had this number for 7 yrs and do not have a clue who this is. Seeing other postings I have loans either, student or otherwise. Who do I get them to stop calling and get the point they have the wrong person
