Anthony from RMS a debt collection, attempting to collect?. I owe nothing now, so wonder who they are. I'm sure not calling them back. He left a message on my cell on Dec 6, 2010. SCAM!!!!I try to be careful, when I get this kind of strange calls I check if anyone else is getting this kind of messages from same phone number. Thank you all, for reporting this calls.
You want to know who they are, these debt collection agencies? They are a faction and arm of the banking and financial industry - all part of the same system that has made this country and our current economic state the great strong system it obviously is today - if you are rich that is. Now I have nothing against wealth, even extreme wealth, free enterprize, etc, but I have everything against extreme GREED. And GREED, my friends is what has us all in this mess...And we let it happen. We fell for it. And unfortunately, even in the year 2010 we don't have much noble behavior at the top %. No, instead we have the same power and money hungry idiots since the beginning of time. Cave people, but with technology. And we are all capable of this...The only reason these collection agencies are in business is because banks and other institutions and companies decide not to work with you, and that it's better for them to somehow get a quick payment and sell your accounts off to a shark (aka collection agency). They feed off of each other in order to feed off of us, the consumer. And who really makes the money at those institutions and banks? Those at that very top. All the same people. Capitalizim has become just as bad as communisim in its extreme state: subject to the corruption that comes with ultimate power and wealth. Tell me, what do you have if you live in a country where only the top 2% holds a good portion of the wealth??? And now everyone is up in arms because the Government is trying to step in and actually do some things that are good for the people, to balance things out a bit. making those at the top, those corporate CEOs, scream that it limits their free enterprize. Is anybody home and paying attention here??
They are calling for a minor child.......................WHAT TYPE OF LOW LIFES ARE THERE PEOPLE.LOCK THEM UP.
First of all, this agency clearly has problems getting people's phone numbers mixed up. Getting a call from them most likely means THEY'VE screwed up, not you.Second. NEVER pay a collection agency anything without consulting an attorney. Debt has an expiration. If you're past that time limit, they can't collect. However, if you pay ANYTHING on that old debt voluntarily, the debt expiration clock gets reset. Again DON'T Pay anything on OLD DEBT!
A 'bot' called my CELL phone and said, 'hold on, this is an important message. we have information for you'. After 5 MINUTES on hold they said, 'Sorry, please CALL US back! for this information!H N
This company continues to call my number looking for the person who had the number before me. I have spoken to them several times and they assure me that my number is not in their system, however, I continue to get phone calls.
They have been calling my house too for my husbands ex-girlfriend that he had almost 20 years ago, they never had this phone # together. I called them to find out why how they got my #, and the person on the other side was RUDE, and after I started yelling at her she hung up on me.
We cancelled our AARP insurance coverage (BECAUSE OF AARP's ENDORSEMENT OF ODUMBO'S HEALTHCARE PLAN) by faxing the info they requested, yet AARP still maintains that we owe them $225.In the ENTIRE time we had the insurance coverage, it was NEVER used! This issue was over an done nearly 20 months ago and recently they turned it over to R (rude) M (mother) S (scumbags)! In our state, if there is no contact(letter, phone call) within a one year timeframe, there is no claim for monies owed. What don't they understand? It's over, folks. Pick on someone else!
"In the ENTIRE time we had the insurance coverage, it was NEVER used!" is irrelevant. You had coverage for the period and should thank your lucky stars you had no need to invoke it. To be healthy and insured is way, way better than sick/injured and insured. You had coverage, what more do you want? Were you hoping for a car crash so you could use it? I know of no state in the Union where "In our state, if there is no contact(letter, phone call) within a one year timeframe, there is no claim for monies owed" is true. Do you not understand how silly that sounds? Max out a credit card, stop paying on it, hide in the woods for a year and the debt vanishes? Brilliant! Simply brilliant!
I'm getting calls 3-4x a week now for my ex-wife. We've been divorced 15 years and both have remarried. Today the caller identified her company as RMS. I keep telling them to take me off their call list, and when I say I'll take their number and pass on a message, they just hang up. My ex is divorced again and umemployed anyway, as if they're going to get anything from her. BTW, her "debt" was from ID theft, but it was so long ago, it wasn't yet even recognized as a crime.
