I got a call from this number and when I picked up i was told it was from microsoft technical support. They said that my windows is sending them a lot of error messages and they were supposed to help me fix this problem. At this time I lied and told them I was an apple user and hung up. Within seconds I get a call again from this number saying that my Mac has been sending them error messages. At this point I knew it was a scam call, but I went along with it to see what they would do. I told them I was in fact a windows user and they proceeded to make me run programs that I am familiar with on my computer and then they wanted me to type some web address. This is when I knew it was a phishing scam. Please even if you are not aware that it is a phishing call always remember not to type a web address on your run screen...EVER!!

Just received a call from this #. Not recognizing it, I 'rejected' the call. Then, this # called back right away. I didn't answer the 2nd time, either. No message was left.
YEah i receive a bunch of calls by this guy saying that i won...$1000 dollars gift certified visa card..and i hella taught it was a scam than he asked me what was my name and my ATM number so that he could send me a package wih my gift card...i hella didnt give him no [***] information but he knew my name and adreess and shitt,.
This # called me (888 888 8888) but something weird happened. It called me, and when I picked it up it called another person who I think was a random person. Hopefully it doesn't call me again. I'm really confused and frustrated. After reading most of these messages, it seems like this # calls random people. I don't know.
i dont know who could he be but his accent sounded from india.the call was about a contest of winning 10,000 dollars and go to any city in the US
this call shows up on my phone as placed 11:10 a.m. on May 5th . it says Toll Free CA Either I was out and there was no message left - or I answered and just got a hang-up. I don't check calls very often so I just found it and wondered what it was about. I get calls from my Drs. that are sometimes 888 numbers, so I needed to know who called.
