Just got a call on my cell from 888 8888888. I've been getting calls from an east Indian man about my computer too. I will block this number now.

I just got a call from 888-888-8888. My call blocker stopped it at 1 ring, but it said it was Vzw At Sams Club. Of course I knew it was a scam. But thought I'd ad that one to the list

Guy from india saying his name was "max" and he was calling from the Windows Technical Dept. My computer was infected (he says,) and he can fix it. I know this is Bull (I'm a computer tech,) and tell him so and hang up. He calls right back trying to convince me that he can "help" me. I ask him not to call me again and to take my number off the call list and hang up. Not the first time for these calls, but first time for that number.

Call from 888-888-8888, caller id says "Vzw At Sams Clu". When I answered, it rang back and a person (with a foreign accent) at the other end picked up saying "hello? hello? " I demanded they take me off the calling list and he hung up.

88888888888 called this am at 9. did not answer. it's a scam trying to get money from trying to hack your computer. they call frequently to me using different numbers from everywhere. i never answer, and never will.

I fell for this scam and let them get into my computer like a jerk. They said the same thing and said they knew how to get all error messages off my computer. Thats when I told them I can't afford anything, I live only on ss and am on a strict budget. A woman with a heavy accent stopped everything and let me get on the computer myself. I wonder what they did while they were in my computer.

Said he wanted to fix my computer. He said it was being attacked. Wanted me to get in front of my computer and he would give me directions on how to fix it. Told him I was not comfortable doing that since there was no problem with my computer. These are Identity thieves!! Dont answer or hang up right away. Dont give them any information!!

I have received 100's of bogus calls over the past 2 years of this economic downturn here in California. I received a call from ECON WEALTH 888-888-8888 at 11:38 a.m. 0n 01-16-2013. My phone is on the National Do not call list, so obviously it does not work. I have no idea who it was that called. I suggest everyone pay for the blocking service on their cell phones. Many times people get our numbers from Craigslist ads we put on there.

I keep getting calls from this # Econ Wealth and when i tell them they have the wrong number, they argue with me and tell me im lieing! WTF is this?
