This person, Phillip Gordon, is calling my parents at separate numbers who have been divorced for over 10 years. Also, he is asking for me by my married name which changed 4 years ago... Harassment to say the least....

I didn't bother answering the phone when I saw the Caller ID trace, because (a) I'm not presently delinquent on any outstanding bills, and (b) the one account I have ever been delinquent on, the agency likes to harass me directly. I Googled the number and discovered it appears to be an illegal operation, so I'm simply going to ignore this number and recommend everyone else do the same. If they REALLY have legitimate collection business with you, they'll use registered mail.

our receptionist just told me that they called for me a few moments ago. She told them not to call here anymore... we do not accept these types of calls at our office. I am not going to give in to any bullying tactics involved in their extortion crap... my bosses are aware of these scams and have no interest in speaking with these bottom feeders... if it were liget then they should be calling me on my home or cell phone - my numbers have not changed in years.

Company call PDM calls all hours of the day and night. Somehow that got number to my relatives and are call and harrassing my relatives

GROW THE HELL UP PEOPLE, STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON THOSE CIGS, OR THEM WEEDS, OR A BREW, OR EVEN STOP BUYING YOUR KIDS NAME BRAND CLOTHING AND XBOX 360 GAMES AND SPEND IT ON YOUR CREDIT. ALL U R DOING IS SCREWING EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO R HONEST AND PAY THIER DEBT EVEN IF THEY DONT AGREE WITH IT, OR DONT LIKE IT , ITS B CUZ WE UNDERSTAND THAT TO LIVE IN "THIS COUNTRY IS A PRIVELAGE" AND WHAT YOU R DOING IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THAT.

I have received numerous calls from this Ms. Wright, she is very threatening when she leaves messages. It is amazing how they think being rude to everyone is going to make anyone call them back. Trust me if anything Legal was going on that you needed to be worried about, it would be handled by Certified Mail.

For the past 3 days I have recieved phone calls from this number on my cell. They are asking for someone I don't know. They then call on my private/unlisted phone, and are harrassing, telling me I am going to have to pay for the debts because I have this person's phone number. I don't need to put up with this. I plan on reporting them. I shouldn't have to pay someone elses debt because they can't.

PDM called and are very unprofessional. They are rude and called my relatives and get rude with them as well. When I made them aware of the FDCPA guidelines, they simply laughed. I am calling my attorney to put a stop to this harrassment.

Basically, you have to send them a letter to cease and desist. There's enough information online, even when you google this phone number, on how to do that. By doing that, you're disputing whatever debt it is they say you owe, and until they can provide proof that said debt is yours, they can't call you again.What these people do is they call incessantly, but they will refuse to send you anything in writing. I received one unsigned debt collection notice which said I had 30 days to act, but the calls started within 2 days of receipt of the notice. And then all they'll do is tell you that you MUST provide them with your bank account number so you can set up payments where they just go ahead and debit your account. Do not do this. You don't have to do this, this is illegal, it's akin to taking a postdated check (which under FTC Fair Debt Collection Rules is illegal)They will not offer any legitimate means of paying your debt. If you offer a solution like mailing them a cashier's check or money order every month, they'll flat out refuse that. They have a prepared script ready to read, and it's quite clear what their bottom line is. They threaten to send you to debt collection otherwise (ooooh scary right?)Either just keep ignoring their calls, or be proactive and send them a letter ASAP. Talking to them does nothing unless you're willing to succumb to their scam and give up your bank account information. Then they'll just belittle you and treat you like [***] over the phone, using their fake names, and raising their voices at you. It's very cool to act like a badass over the phone right?
