You should do your research on the main Haverhill instructor. Kimberley is highly respected in this field. Some say she is the best in Canada. She has won awards and is president of real estate staging association's Ontario chapter. She is also involved in a staging TV show. I can assure you she is a professional. Anyone can google her and find out for themselves. The course is not impossible to pass as I, and many others have done so.
It's about time some one is posting compaints about this company. My huband and I were also conned by John Carter and company. We look forward to hearing more from you.
just wanting to know if you have actually taken this course. two members of my family are taking right now and they have been working their butts off. they are not lazy people and Haverhill has been inconsistent, unprofessional and very unclear on the marks. Communication with anyone from this company has been hell. no one returns calls and if they do it's like a week later, and actually you do not get all the money back. they keep a certain percentage of it so you only get a certain percentage back. it's in the small print. They promised an interview, and you know what it has not happened. i'm just getting so fed up. I have never experienced such an unprofessional education system in my life!!!
I am in question as to sign up with Haverhill or not. I have gone to Barbara's site to review what she offers. Why do think they are a scam? I have spoken to a stager in Dallas,(I'm in Austin) and she likes it and makes $1,000 a month part time with Haverhill.
Who cares if it 5 or 8, these are minor details, cause right now I'm not one of them. why don't you focus your energy on getting to be one of the next employed if that's what you want, that's what I'm doing. They have stated what they are looking for, and I think I got what it takes. The fact of the matter is, we will all see in the New Year.
FRUSTRATED and disappointed. This is a very interesting, unclear course. I've done assignments and tests and they still say i need to do another assignment to get up to 80%. I'm sick of this. I work very hard and I feel they are sucking all the money out of me. This whole time I've been telling myself that they must be really busy or i'm not working hard enough. But when i look at all these comments I understand that i'm not the only one. People have been struggling with this system for a long time! wow. I think it's ok to complain. I don't want anyone to have to go through this mess.
They don't have to guarantee everyone a job. Their web site says, "To be considered for Employment, candidates must: ...successfully complete a personal interview assessment." This means that even if you graduate, they can tell you that you did not "successfully" complete their personal interview assessment. That's their loophole.
I also emailed HGTV to tell them how happy I was with Haverhill and to thanks HGTV for the Haverhill ads. I loved the course!
Natalie, I read your post because I was considering taking this "exciting course". It appears that you have first hand experience with the company unlike the guy? "Pacheo" who has none. I would be interested in any further information that you would have to offer, though you have said quite a bit. Do you feel that your experience with Haverhill is typical? or do you feel that your experience was unique?
