Fair enough, Mr. Okada.Your defense of Haverhill seems legitimate. But please explain how and why my sister completed your course, completed all required modules, provided all required documentation - all within the required timeframe, and scored 97% on your final exam more than two months ago ... and she is being jerked around with "we'll see" and "we'll get back to you in 45 days" regarding her so-called "guaranteed employment."She is in an area of Southern California in which Haverhill admits is desperately short of qualified stagers and in dire need of people. And yet, the employment "guarantee" doesn't quite seem to be taking effect. Please explain how this plays into what you call "legitimate business" in which you "back up every claim we make and will unfailingly stand up to the most scrutinous eye."I have substantially scrutinous eyes; two of them. And they see highly questions claims not being fulfilled. Please respond to GunnySteve@live.com.
Hi There!I am taking the course as we speak. Honestly, it is a lot of fun but a fair amount of work, especially if you are working full time. It is school, and some of it is hard, and some of it is easy. It depends on the person, their work ethic, and how motivated you are. I can honestly say I have gone from pure excitment to ripping my hair out frustration in a day with some of the excersises. School is school, and is meant to test you! Lately, there has been A LOT of structural changes with the Institute. They are trying really hard to be efficient with answering the questions student have by now creating an online FAQs forum for each student when they are logged on. Unfortunately, some of the questions you have may not be adequately answered, as was the case with me this week, so I proceeded to call Customer Service. One lady was VERY helpful, but still did not give me a sure answer on my question. I thought about it for a while and called again and could not get a hold of the same lady, and this lady could not help me whatsoever, so I asked to speak to someone where I could file a formal complaint. She was very prompt and transferred me right away. I ended up speaking with the President, and he was extremely helpful. I ended up not complaining in the end, but voicing my concern on a few things I had run into numerous times with the programme that I felt if I was having this problem there had to be others out there having the same problem. He agreed with my concerns and explained to me exactly what I had thought before I received condridicting answers from the FAQs forum. He thanked me for my feedback, and I thanked him for his help. It helps to be proactive with this programme and know how to get your answers if you are not satisfied. Not resolving your issues will result in frustrations and bashing the Institute. I am now waiting on one more confirmation from the President, or a post on the FAQ for students and I am sure I will get a response tomorrow. I remain fairly neutral at this point because of the uncertainty until I receive my marks back. They mark you on how you understand the textbook concepts, and I feel I have an excellent grasp on it, but hey I won't know until I complete it and get my marks back!
I took the course ended up going to the BBB and complaining got my money back a full refund. Am I happy NO I spend alot of time and effort doing that course went into peoples homes and staged all with good intentions of getting a job received an 'A'. I went to the BBB and complained Received my money back and now my picture is one their website as an accredited graduate. Go figure. If you want to email me I wil tell you my story and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Oh after I complained I got an 82% and a reply that they would not hire me now because I would be a dirgruntle employee. But before I complained I had 76% then they gave me 79% then complained and like magic my marks went to 82% but now they don't want me. I could never figure out what happened to the A's I got in July. GO figure they make their money one the people that get less the 80% and refund a few that get over 80% Please feel free to email me 13273d@gmail.com
I would love to see this test. I am currently a Haverhill student and have seen way too many negative comments concerning this company. Although I feel that the work I have submitted is truly high quality work, I'm sure Haverhill will find fault with everything. I need to get a passing grade so that i can get a refund when they choose not to hire me.
Mike, to pass their course is trying to catch a black cat in a dark room. They changed everything several times since I enrolled and received the original package of tasks to be completed. The best part is the last one which came out while I was already waiting for 3 months for the marks."Working with trades". You are staging for free 5 homes and you have to hire FOR FREE 3 teams of 3 trades people each, take all their info. including ins. and add up the 9 references on each of them from clients where they presumed be working for free helping you with your projects. Do you think this absurd is possible? If you do you still not guaranteed of other new updates to overcome and this is endless. Without this new assignment I can't proceed though I've got my marks at last.It looks like I had enough. This company is not reliable. In case you're looking for real training -not the case. Shameful immitation.
i too was going to borrow money to try to better my career. thanks so much to all of you for saving me from making a huge mistake. when will all these deception and lies end? is there any legitimate private training school out there??
WOW thank ou all for your gut renching truth and saving me 1K. This sounds like a dream job but Haverhill has made it more of a nightmare. So sorry for all your grief. My best advice for all you to submit your remarks to a canadian BBB.
I'm still researching the company and haven't put down any money to start their course yet.Today I made some phone calls, and a lady with their property management company in Portland says they do exist and they are growing quickly in Canada, Portland, Seattle and somewhere out east. The Portland BBB knows they exist but doesn't have any info about them, the Oregon Secretary of State knows they exist but doesn't have any info about them. I would also love to hear from someone who has gone through the training and has been hired in the US by Haverhill.
