Have you checked out their website in the last two months? First they were offering home owners the opportunity to name their price. Average bids 1/2 day $394.00, full day $753.00. They have removed this and now are posting set fees for 1/2 day $399.00, full 8hr day $599.00. They change their pricing it seems every month. How would you feel if you were one of the ones that paid more for their services than some one who paid for the same service with Haverhill and paid less? Especially the full day old average price of $753.00 versus $599.00 now?

Frapouille, how was the plant question asked exactly? Are you certain there was a 'plant' question?

Dear "I'm not bitter", if you (as I can figure out who wrote this message) would just refund the money it won't make up for my time your company has wasted but it would cut the fuel line that is feeding gas into the fire you are starting!

I am currently taking the Haverhill course. I do realize that their material is outdated. I have done extra research in this field. I am currently using two of Barbara Jenning's books in addition to a lot of other resources. I had to request a 2 month extension. I have never had any problems with them as far a questions go or calling them for that matter. I will let you know if I pass the test.They are no longer accepting student's for their hire on program.

designergirl, it would seem to be a close answer, but the question was other than staging, what 5 other services can you offer a home owner? you can't offer a home owner retail, or trade shows or commercial spaces. the 6 most important rooms was not mentioned in my teleclass. i took notes while i listened and watched. i am used to documenting all info whether it seems important at the time or not. and the plant question - simple, what do plants bring to a space. this is question you had to put into your own words. it was not multiple choice. i answered it. but i still don't know if they marked it as correct since the way kimberly explained it, the computer grades the test as the student is taking it. so, if the wording is not correct, or exact, how do i know what they are seeking. the plant question was not mentioned in the tele-class nor in any books (all 2 of them) so i can only say what i know about plants and what they bring to a space. she did say to the tele-class to keep the answers short and brief since there was a time limit. so, as short and briefly as i could i stated what i know plants bring to a space. i have plants in my "spaces" and they do very well. i use plants for several reasons too.but again, what is the answer they are looking for???

I am curious if anyone here has passed the course and been hired by Haverhills for at least a month? Can someone tell me anything good about being hired by Haverhills?I am trying to find that there is a possibility that just maybe staging is not for the people complaining on this site and just maybe they were not hired because they just were not that good?
