in regards to henry ford, ford motor company still can't make a car worth sh**! believe me, i know. i used to do customer service for them, for about 4.5 yrs before they left canada for florida. i would listen to people tell me that their brand new, only 300 miles on it (i dealt with americans)35,000 dollar car had the engine fail and all they got was a rebuilt engine. haverhill and ford, same thing in my eyes. you take the money, give a cheap product and then laugh at the consumer. for haverhill the cheap product is this so called training. i never got any training. there is no training.this office is full of women sitting on their assess reviewing student work, but they don't teach you anything. i learned more from tv and other books i already own. they critiqued my work. gave a comment or two. i had to take the tele-class and still learned nothing new.where is the training????????and anyone that defends the company that much, must work for them. meekison said they were taking to long to give the grades, but yes his friend finally got them. the terms and conditions have changed several times. about the rate of pay, when you call to enroll, the person explaining the course tells you to sign up soon because the rate of pay will be dropping within a 2 week period. but you are right to say that their website still states the original rate of pay. but it also states "Here’s how it works:Haverhill Home Staging will provide you with a half-day* home make-over using your existing furnishings and possessions to their best potential. The ‘after’ photos of the newly-staged home are then showcased on Stagers Studio to thousands of potential home-buyers during HGTV’s Sunday morning line-up of popular home-selling shows like "Designed to Sell" and "Get it Sold"."first, only designed to sell is on hgtv canada, and second it's not on early sunday mornings now. so, you should also do your research before you decide to bash other people. it really bugs me when people can't back up what they claim. and you are doing the same thing!

A note to Just Wondering....First let me ask, If you have no affliation with the company or if you are not interested in taking the course, how do you know the questions on the test are "common sense" types? Now, please allow me to me explain a few things. I am currently enrolled in the course because I have a natural gift for decorating and want to follow my passion. I think that I can help homeowners re-decorate their homes to enjoy for years to come, or hopefully reduce the time on the market while maximizing their profits (for those who are selling). Don't get me wrong...I earn a great living right now as an educational writer, and I possess a Masters degree in education. In my current position, I develop curriculum and write educational materials in math and science for K-12 students. I mentioned this to let you know that people in this course come from a variety of backgrounds and educational levels. The Haverhill curriculum is poorly developed. The course is actually written backwards. They have students stage homes first, and then teach them about design styles and have them write their mission statements last. For pratical purposes one would begin with a mission statement, outlining their philosophy, etc., then learn about design styles, how to layout rooms, find tradespeople, and finally do the actual staging. The three booklets for staging, (staging, de-cluttering and focal points) are redundant, since students need to do all three when staging a room. These cannot and should not be isolated. Students should be able to use the same rooms to show how they have cluttered, chosen focal points, and completed the staged room. They should use pictures and discussions to explain and discuss each of these three areas (but for the same room when possible) As a curriculum developer, I can tell you that this course is poorly put together and I am inclined to believe that it is a scam. I will be able to evaluate the test questions to determine whether they truly measure a student's knowledge, or if it is basically thrown together as a part of this poorly designed course. Please do not make assumptions. These students are correct when they say that there is no one to ask questions (only through a FAQ board), no teacher-student contact. I am very resourceful having owned my own business for a number of years, and can get through a course on my own. However, I could have spent a few hours at a library and learned more than I have learned so far in this course. My money was definitely not well spent!

Now we know that Maria and Jacky have been employed by Haverhill. The rest of you can only qualify for an accreditation providing that you have paid around a $1000 to get this unneeded paper in this totally unregulated field. What a concept!Online test it is a joke and of course it has to be marked by infamous Kimberly - great opportunity to manipulate results as well and even greater opportunity not to return your enrolment fee.Have you ever taken a test that you are unable to get back to to the previous questions even when you have some time left? Once you click next it's over. Right here there is a proof they don't want you to pass, they are only after your money. Very sad!
