They use tape recorded voices not real ones. Just like India trying to scam money from seniors and others pretending to be the "cra".

We've been plagued by numerous calls from the mississauga area; not owed! One call in 2015 said money was owed on a credit card from 2009. If I did owe, they should have sent me genuine papers from the creditor. Not voice mail people who are "ghosts". They stalk by using organized crime.

Miskin was disbarred. Conducts unlawful activity.

These guys are pathetic. They keep calling the wrong number and don't get the hint. So they're being rude to me, and I'm dying to driver over there and smack the [***] out of all of them.

I do wonder if you work for the Collection Agency. Sure sounds as though you do. I can't see why anyone would be on this site, unless they owe money or work as a collector. Having said that - it must really suck being a collection agent. And if you happen to be a rude one I wonder how it's working out for you being rude to people who are in a bad situation. Let me remind you "What comes around goes around"- Karma You may think that it will never happen to you, I once thought that way myself. No job has security these days...not even for a collection agent.And things happen in life - car accident, brain injury, divorces, to name a few. There are a limitless sudden events that can occur to suddenly turn a person from rich to poor. A good many people in debt - do try hard to pay their bills and have every intention on paying them. A little advice to those collection agents that are rude - you would get better results if you are nice and work with the people not against them. Treating people like crap and pronouncing their name wrong when they are depressed as it is, just makes it worse. Perhaps you do not care to know the statistics on people who decided after a rude call from a collection agent - to give up on life. I am not saying the phone call is the reason, just that it adds to the problems they may have had and makes the decision easier. Had the call been different, those people probably would have had a sense of hope. Telling people to get a job...seriously poor advice, since the unemployment rate is extremely high and we are in a recession. Competion for jobs are very high...BTW I do have a job, trying hard to find a second job just to survive. I do pay my bills - just not able to make the payments I would like too and that are required. I am fortunate though, as many people are desperately trying their hardest to find a job...Shame on you for being so judgemental, when it is obvious that you are not with the way things are in this day and age.

i cant belive they called me again. rude black sounding girl left a loud and rude message on my phone. Note: they are not calling for me but for someone who hasnt had the phone number for 2 years. they keep calling and calling, shows how [***] lame they are can't even get someone. Must be soo easy to run from collections, they don't even know the persons new address.Last time they called a [***] kept calling back when i hung up and wouldnt let me speak to her manager. the message they left said "this is ___ calling on behalf of chantal at mjr, its important that you call her today to discuse a legal matter with mr. ceron.". Soo loud she was yelling into phone, and befor she hung up i could hear person in background yelling at someone else "if you do not pay the full amount you will...*click*"

Its not that all of us don't want to pay our bills ... but these people are scavengers ... they call you names, yell at you, and threaten you. and to top it all off they refuse to make payment arrangements. we are not complaining about paying the bill only the mask this company puts on every morning.

These [***] have been calling my Mom for years now and now matter how many times my mom tells them i don't live there they keep calling.All the people who are saying "pay your bills" should learn to read and then [***], as you can read from the many complaints on here most of the calls are completely misguided or inappropriate. 6 years ago I cashed a cheque that my bank told me was good... 3 months after the fact the bank told me it wasn't good and i suddenly owed them 1500 dollars.. now you tell me if i should be paying... these MJR guys are the last rung on the collection ladder and they buy these accounts for fractions and fractions of the original debt. Tell them to go to hell because chances are at this point its not effecting your credit anyways.
