You are certainly brave for putting that post on here. You have to give respect to receive it and these Collection Agencies certainly do NOT deserve it. I would rather clean toilets than lower myself to work for any collection agency! Apparently you haven't heard the saying,You catch more flies with honey??? And before you go shooting your mouth off about other people, maybe YOU should go back to school and learn grammar and spelling again. Skills you seem to have forgotten.There are extenuating circumstances to why some people are in collections. I am getting these calls and it isn't even my debt. They have the wrong number! Do you understand that? NOT my debt but dealing with these nasty people anyway. When they are nasty with people, they put people on the defensive and get the same treatment back. Respect given, respect earned.

Why would you pay a debt you don't even owe?

When they first call and don't get ahold of you directly but speaks to someone else confirming that you live there or in other words "they're not home" - you're then transferred over to someone else who will bug the [***] out of you. These people are sick in their head, what makes them think you can suddenly pay them in full when you've been struggling to make monthly payments? If you're making your payments that you can afford, continue to do so and just ignore them. When your Debt's been payed off, make sure you get a release form stating that you've paid off the outstanding balance. Start rebuilding your credit, anyone that says you can't is lying to you. Yes, it will never be the same until the 7 year period rolls over but in the mean time you can take small steps in showing that you're responsible and willing to improve your current situation while living within your means. Speak to friends, a financial advisor, your bank and just do your research. I know it's hard, trust me I've been there and letting these [***] stress you out is not worth it. Knowledge is power, remember that! Good luck!

they will not take you to court for anything under 10k it would be a waste of time and money... it will be written off as a R9 BUT!!!!!!! there is companies that will still try to collect on old debt like 10+ years and if you knowledge the debt by say yes your aware of the det or make a payment then that debt can be restarted as a new debt and it will start all over again

They can try and collect but can't sue you for the debt. Ad a simple cease and desist letter stops the calls. send by registered mail so you know they received it. And btw, my mom is now talking them to court for harrasment. And they were charged after all the evidence was listened to.

I just got harassed again by someone from this company called "scamique?" Or at least it sure sounded like it. I hung up on her cause she was prying for information to scam me. legit companies aren't rude and yell when you refuse to give them your personal info and call with UNBLOCKED NUMBERS.. She called me multiple times after I hung up and left her contact info on my voicemail after:@ urggggg this b!tch doesn't know when to stop, she actually has the balls, which I mean literally cause she's very manly on the telephone.. Her contact info is 1-(877)-669-4935 x 528. Pleaseeeee call her multiple times, leave her numerous nasty messages and give her what she deserves! I wish she provided a fax number as well so I could send her nice things all day long;)

I have been receiving arrasing phone calls from 905-671-4151, Think they are sexual arassment phone calls , and I know there is a law which protects us from unknown calls like this , and I expect something has to be done with this matter before it is too late.
