the thing is the bills are already freaking paid. they buy your information mostly off of medical insurance places and keep harassing you until you pay THEM.

Any serious complaints with a public utility, like txu, can be resolved, and rather quickly I've discovered, by filing a complaint with the public utilities commission. We had a storm which knocked all the lines onto the ground at the entrance to our road, which happens to be a dead end. So our only way in or out is through these down power lines. After 4 different houses, about 15 calls and 24 hours later entergy still hadn't come out to see the "alleged" lines on the ground. I had called a supervisor that I've always had an excellent relationship with and she was in awe that our road was still blocked and the lines were still just laying there. She called a supervisor in the field and he came down to talk to me and said that all the reports we had previously made had disappeared! His was the ONLY one in the computer and he knew there were more because he saw them just hours earlier. He said I need to go online or call the Public Utilities Commission and file a complaint. I did it over the phone, they were very courteous and told me I would probably hear from an engergy representative within 48 hours. He called within 10 minutes and 20 minutes after that I had 5 entergy trucks lined up to fix the line and restore power. The PUC works!!

Got a call from them this morning, buit I did not get there in time to answer. By the way, I do NOT owe ANYONE money!! It must be a scam that I read about

This company has called multiple times to a number which they KNOW is associated with a business. The individuals they are looking for are not owners of the number which they call and even if they were then it would still be illegal for them to call a business number for debt collection purposes. I called their number back to tell them to remove the number from their list and to confront them for knowingly calling a business line. The girl denied that they knew it was a business number and that they only dealt with "medical bills," etc. etc., but I rebutted that if she had listened to the voice-mail greeting she would clearly know that she was contacting a business. She hung up on me when I told her to no longer call our business number. Needless to say, complaints have been filed now with the proper government entities.

Who ever this is..STOP CALLING MY DAMN PHONE.I'm sick of it and you have no right calling my personal number.I will report you.

Got a call on my caller ID from them, but no idea why. This number is old, have gotten calls for the former owners many years after we got it, assume if they are debt collectors, that might be why. Haven't heard anything in many years though, so somewhat surprising. However, many people used to live here as a group home/hospice so it's possibly one of their former deadbeat employees. If they had left a voicemail or any kind of info on why they called, I'd be happy to assist and point them in the right direction, but there was nothing and I really don't feel like calling them back and giving them free reign to call my phone number. What is wrong with leaving voicemail, exactly?
