I had the same experience. I answered the phone the person on the other side, listened me saying "hello" to him or her but did not reply. Wait for a while a hang up on me. They did this few times and I think it was deliberate. In the mean time I have no idea why they called me (not even a clue)
they keep calling and never say who they are or what they want. i want them to stop calling.
Debt collectors do not abide by that do not call list.I called and was told if you owe a Debt they could call you to collect. I told them I did not owe and they told me that is not what their records say.
They are still at it, calling, sounding so friendly on voice mail and telling you to have a nice day. They don't tell you what they want. I called them back and they tell me I owe $46 to a Radiology company that I'm in the middle of a dispute with (it was billed incorrectly). Harrassment for $46? I guess the radiology company is getting the service they paid for.
the lady on the other line asked for me but would not give me her name or let me know what the letters scs stud for she rambled off. she said she was not required by law to give me that information. the only reason i found out because the number was on my cell phone and i looked it up on the Internet, she was very rude.
This number has called me twice and when i answer no one says anything they just sit on the line. I dont know who it is but i just got this number and its getting annoying.
Dear Collector,Being as you are apparently God and therefore infallible, let me explain to you how things work for us mere mortals. Most people don't rack up debt for fun and games, and most people don't actually feel like they never have to pay what they owe. In fact, for people like us (you know, not God and therefore subject to the usual things that befall human beings), certain obstacles may present themselves that make us have to reconsider our priorities. You know, the economy right now is pretty terrible, and a lot of people have lost their jobs! I know, how irresponsible of them...if only they had thought about that before having the poor judgment to get laid-off! Some people have this silly idea in their head that feeding their kids is more important than going into the red for a car payment. I know, I know. Human life, right? Who cares if someone starves as long as someone else's material possessions are caught up on!But all joking aside, if you are a debt collector and not just some troll, we all know you have your job because you're a sociopathic gradeschool dropout and aren't qualified for much of anything else. Other employment options tend to require at least the ability to pretend to empathize, not to mention an education and the ability to read beyond a first-grade level. I'm sorry you're a worthless piece of trash, but that's hardly anyone else's fault. So please, take your Randian bootstraps attitude elsewhere and perhaps find a hobby that isn't harassing people to help get your rocks off.Love,The Human Race
