Um.... if it's your debt, you are legally obligated to pay it. Plain and simple. If it's on your credit report, it's your responsibility. Period.

I have gotten several calls from this number over the past few weeks. When I answer, they simply hang-up. If I do not answer, they never leave a message. No exchange of dialogue has ever taken place, it only serves to be a source of harassment.

I do not have any unpaid, late, delinquent or outstanding debts, nor have I ever had any such debts that would put me on some list whereby these people would get my number. Therefore, I can only assume this is just a robotic telemarketer making random calls. I do not answer calls I do not recognize because doing so only confirms to them that they have a "live" number which in turn means they will keep it on their call list and probably sell it to others. That is why we get so many of these bogus calls. Ignoring them is our only hope to make them go away.

Actaully we use a Program called Accurint to find you phone numbers. Not rocket science

I get a call from them a day. It leaves a message but it is not for me. When I answer it there is a recording that tells me to call them. I am very unhappy about this.

Um... NO - it could be on one's credit report fraudulently. What about identity theft? Should someone be legally obligated to pay a debt that is on one's credit report due to that? I think not.

Guy calls and I call back to ask to be taken off the calling list. He then tells me I can be removed for a small of 500.00 as you know the call quickly went down hill from there. I wont go into details of exactly what I said but i was told since I wont pay he'll make sure my number receives 20 call a day.

I received a call from this company, which is a debt collector. The bad thing you should all probably know, though, is if they have your name, they probably have your social security number. If not, I would call the number back and ask. My situation had to do with Wells Fargo Bank, who we will never bank with again. That bank would give money to Al-Quadia; they cannot trace back if someone takes money out of your account. I would find out and then contact the Social Security Administration and file a complaint. There is no reason that these places have to give out Social Security numbers. I am going to file a complaint to get mine removed, as I did pay the debt back. Also, Wells Fargo is big enough that they could have their own collection department, they just do not want to deal with the legal issues of not being in accordance with the law so they find an agency who will do their dirty work for them. We had our account number changed 3 times with Wells Fargo and they still let people take out money that were not authorized.

The guy that called was aggressive and rude. He called for someone that doesn't work here. He asked me the name of the company again and when i wouldn't give it he was rude and unprofessional.
